Who Will Be The Next American Idol? So who do you think will win the competition and be voted the next American Idol?
I'm guessing Bo. I had been thinking Carrie would get it, but I'm leaning toward Bo now.

Even though Bo is so-o Awesome!! I still think Carrie will be the next American idol!!
I thought their group sing last night was dreadful!! Especially how Bo and Carrie sounded. Their voices don`t match at all.

That's exactly what we thought. We chalked it up to emotion, but it really wasn't all that pleasing to the ears... :shock:

I think Carrie would be better off not winning, then she can market herself as what she really wants to be...a country act. She should have no trouble getting signed by a Nashville label.
I voted Bo...I think he will take it.
Does anyone know if the winner of AI is bound by contract to do pop music? Or if someone like Carrie would win, would they market her to country fans and country stations?

I voted for Bo. Maybe I shouldn't have voted, since I've only seen a couple of epi's this season, and I don't really know what's going on there. But I wanted to vote anyway. I hope I didn't skew the results. :wink:

I picked her to win from the beginning, I'm not about to jump off the bandwagon this late in the game. Go Carrie! :grin:

Bo all the way. It seems that he has performance qualities, as well as great vocals. Carrie doesn't have that stage quality, though her voice is better than Bo's
Carrie will get a country record deal no matter what, so let's let Bo have it.

I voted for Carrie several times last night. Here's why:
1. She's from my state.
2. She does not have a drug past which, imo, makes her more of an "idol".
3. She does not have a band to fall back on like Bo. She only has a little farm waiting for her back home.
THAT being said, I like them both and will be happy no matter who wins.
