When you vote....... What happens? Do you get a recorded message or something? I tried to vote for the first time tonight and most of the time I either got a recording saying my call cant be completed as dialed or dead air and then the dialtone..or a busy signal. And I was using redial so it wasnt a case of dialing it wrong or differently each time. I got tired of trying after about 10 tries.

"Hi this is Carrie/Bo thanks for voting. Watch American Idol tomorrow 7/8 central on fox"

For future reference.....
I've noticed that it's easier to wait a little while after the lines open to try to vote. You have two hours to vote and the second hour is so much easier to get through. You don't get as many busy signals and dial error messages.
For the first weeks of the season, you got an announcer recording saying " Thank you for voting for contestant 6. Watch American Idol tomorrow night sponsored in part by Nextel wireless."
The last few weeks they've had the contestants themselves make the message. I like it so much better, because at least you know you that the right person got the vote.

The lines were open for four hours last night. I was able to get through about six times then stopped after that. My "redial" finger was getting tired.
I voted for Bo.
