Whats your current favorite song?
Now and then I hear a song that I really like and it becomes my new favorite song....till the next one comes along. How about you? What song is out there now that you really like? Who sings it and why do you like it? Is it the words? The story? The tune? or just because. Ive been hearing this song for the past couple days and I really like it. Its called "Findin' a Good Man" by Danielle Peck. She reminds me of Shania Twain and even looks like her a tad. I thought it was Shania singing it when first heard it. I like it just because. Its catchy and I like the drums. I especially like the chourus close to the end where she sings it acappella.. YOU CAN HERE IT HERE along with the rest of the tracks. (ya have to use IE) Or YOU CAN SEE THE VIDEO HERE She's a looker fella's  We got a bucket of Corona, Enough stories to last all night, About the trials and tribulations, Of findin' Mr. Right: Of findin' a good man. Here's to the liars and the cheaters and the cold mistreaters; To the Momma's boys who can't make a stand. Here's to the superficial players; The "I love ya" too-soon-sayers; If you hear me girls, raise your hand: Let's have a toast: Here's to findin' a good man. Blind dates an' horror stories; Pushy guys and fast movers. Let's dedicate this girl's night out, To big-talkers; bad losers, It's so hard findin' a good man. Here's to the liars and the cheaters and the cold mistreaters; To the Momma's boys who can't make a stand. Here's to the superficial players; The "I love ya" too-soon-sayers; If you hear me girls, raise your hand: Let's have a toast: Here's to findin' a good man. Julie, I know you want perfection; Angie, you want a listener. Lisa, your list is gettin' long, And girls, you know me:I just want a good kisser. Here's to the liars and the cheaters and the cold mistreaters; To the Momma's boys who can't make a stand. Here's to the superficial players; The "I love ya" too-soon-sayers; If you hear me girls, raise your hand: Let's have a toast; Let's have a toast: Here's to findin' a good man. Here's to findin' a good man. Here's to findin' a good man. Now you go.

Like Beacho said .... I've got so many faves, it's hard to choose. BUT ... I am loving loving loving this new Pink song: Who Knew I listen to it nonstop. I love the way her voice sounds on it. So, I guess it's probably my new fave song. You took my hand You showed me how You promised me you'd be around Uh huh That's right I took your words And I believed In everything You said to me Yeah huh That's right If someone said three years from now You'd be long gone I'd stand up and punch them out Cause they're all wrong I know better Cause you said forever And ever Who knew Remember when we were such fools And so convinced and just too cool Oh no No no I wish I could touch you again I wish I could still call you friend I'd give anything When someone said count your blessings now For they're long gone I guess I just didn't know how I was all wrong They knew better Still you said forever And ever Who knew Yeah yeah I'll keep you locked in my head Until we meet again Until we Until we meet again And I won't forget you my friend What happened If someone said three years from now You'd be long gone I'd stand up and punch them out Cause they're all wrong and That last kiss I'll cherish Until we meet again And time makes It harder I wish I could remember But I keep Your memory You visit me in my sleep My darling Who knew My darling My darling Who knew My darling I miss you My darling Who knew Who knew

Sam I am, that makes me so happy. I didn't think that song was getting any play at all, and I'm worried that she's just going to end up giving up on the U.S. But then again, I don't remembre where you're from. lol. She actually started writting that song about her friends that have died from drug overdoses. Anyway, I don't know what my current favorite song is. I've been downloading a lot of old songs that I used to love, so those have been in my head lately. I'm really loving the Rent soundtrack. I really love this one song called Breathe Me by Sia. Help, I have done it again I have been here many times before Hurt myself again today And, the worst part is there's no-one else to blame Be my friend Hold me, wrap me up Unfold me I am small I'm needy Warm me up And breathe me Ouch I have lost myself again Lost myself and I am nowhere to be found, Yeah I think that I might break I've lost myself again and I feel unsafe Be my friend Hold me, wrap me up Unfold me I am small I'm needy Warm me up And breathe me Be my friend Hold me, wrap me up Unfold me I am small I'm needy Warm me up And breathe me

Shmoo, I'm in New York. They play it on one of the stations here and I've seen the video a few times on VH1. I can't remember where, but I did see her do an interview where she talked about how that song came about. I downloaded it from iTunes and honestly can't stop listening to it. And often when I hear a Pink song - you come to mind! I like the lyrics to that one you've posted. I'm going to check it out and see how it sounds. I've never heard of her (?) though.

Probably the duet version of Who Says You Can't Go Home by Jon Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles Of Sugarland. I spent twenty years trying to get out of this place I was looking for something I couldn't replace I was running away from the only thing I've ever known Like a blind dog without a bone I was a gypsy lost in the twilight zone I hijacked a rainbow and crashed into a pot of gold I been there, done that But I ain't looking back on the seeds I've sown Saving dimes spending too much time on the telephone Who says you can't go home Who says you can't go home There's only one place they call me one of their own Just a hometown boy born a rolling stone Who says you can't go home Who says you can't go back I been all around the world and as a matter of fact There's only one place left I want to go Who says you can't go home It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright I went as far as I could, I tried to find a new face There isn't one of these lines that I would erase I lived a million miles of memories on that road With every step I take I know that I'm not alone You take the home from the boy But not the boy from his home These are my streets, the only life I've ever known Who says you can't go home Who says you can't go home There's only one place they call me one of their own Just a hometown boy born a rolling stone Who says you can't go home Who says you can't go home I been all around the world and as a matter of fact There's only one place left I want to go Who says you can't go home It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright Who says you can't go home It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright Who says you can't go home I been there, done that and I ain't looking back It's been a long, long road Feels like I never left, that's how the story goes It doesn't matter where you are, It doesn't matter where you go If it's a million miles away or just ten miles up the road Take it in , Take it with you when you go Who says you can't go home?
