Volunteering
Have you ever done any volunteer work, for school, for community service or just because you wanted to? I've done some volunteer work for school. I took class notes for disabled students and when I was in Phi Theta Kappa I volunteered to help out at the polls during the elections. I'm sure we did some volunteer work while I was in Girl Scouts but that was so long ago right now I'm drawing a blank on what exactly we did. I wouldn't mind doing more volunteer work sometime but right now I really need a second job that pays. I can't afford to work for free. Maybe after I retire I can volunteer at Disneyworld, a local animal shelter, Walmart or something.

DH and I volunteered our Saturdays when we lived in New Orleans. We helped WWII vets build a WWII LCVP landing craft for the D-Day museum. We even got to take it out on the lake and drive it around a little before it was put in the museum. It was an amazing experience.

I did lots of various volunteering as a kid and before I got married. Now I never seem to have the time or the energy.
