Problems posting pictures or other images online? Here’s a little guide that ought to help.
First, you need a picture or image file that you want to post—obviously! If you already have the image file on your computer, you will need to upload it to a host website that you can link to. www.zoomshare.com is one place you can use, and their uploading steps are straightforward.
Once you have the image uploaded—or if you find a picture elsewhere on the net that you want to use—you simply place the cursor over the image and right-click the mouse. Choose the “Properties” option in the pop-up window to open the Properties window.
Using the mouse, highlight the “Address: (URL)” information as in the following picture.
Place the cursor over the highlighted text and click the right button again. Select the “Copy” option to copy the URL to the Windows clipboard. You can now paste that URL into the message you are trying to post.
Choose where you want it in your message and—again—right-click at that point. Choose the “Paste” option and the URL will be placed in your message.
Finally, highlight the URL if it is not already highlighted and click the 
button at the top of the “Post a new message” box. The URL of the image will now be tagged as an image and will show up in your post.
Click on the “Preview” button and check out your new image!
How to Post Pictures on the Island
