Can I just say how much I friggin looooooovvvvvvveeeeee buffalo chicken wings from Quicky's!!!!???? I just had lunch, can you tell??? :lol:

I had french fries and ice cream for lunch. Kind of a weird mix and I wouldn't recommend eating cold ice cream directly after eating burning hot fries. I'm surprised my teeth didn't crack apart. I've never had ice cream for lunch before but I was in the mood for a sundae and I got frozen fries at the store to keep myself from going out to McDonalds so much. They're not as good but at least they're doing the job. I haven't been to McDonald's in a while.

ROFL. I just double-checked the delivery date of the gift I got for Tif and sure enough it says plain as day the delivery date is March 23rd. My, this month has flown! Seems like it just started! :lol:

Oops. I did call to let them know they got the delivery date wrong but I said I was ok with that. :oops:

For those of you who don't read the thread about my life, I am posting some outstanding news from my house. My son has placed 2nd in his grade for his speech. He is now on to compete in Regionals some times around the first week in April. If he places well there, then it is off to State competition. He is very excited, and I am very proud. The title of the speech is, "The federal government took over the series", by Ronald Reagan. It is about what would happen if the government ran the World Series.

That's MY nephew! He takes after his Aunt Brinna. :wink:

Believe it or not Brinna, I think he takes after his mom and dad. We are not exactly dummies and I'm the one revisiting the 1st grade. Geez woman, give credit where credit is due.

I got two good phone calls today. The first call was from my dentist's office saying they had just received word that the crown that was being made for the tooth I'd had a root canal in was being sent out in today's mail and they'd have it by Wednesday so I can get the crown put on Thursday rather than having to wait two weeks until after I get back from the conference I'm going to. :grin: The second call was from Wal-Mart. I'd stopped by last Friday which happened to be "Teacher Appreciation Day" and got a box of free goodies and signed up for a drawing. The call informed me that I'd won the drawing...a $50 gift card. Cool! :cool:
