That's great Slim. How long has it been since you've seen each other?
I think it was Easter 2001. So it has been awhile.

I'm going to raise ladybugs!!
For my biology class we have to do a report on an insect and I was wavering between doing my report on lightning bugs or ladybugs. While I was looking up information on bugs, I found a site that sells a ladybug kit where you can raise them from larva to adults. I've always loved ladybugs so I decided to order the kit whether I do my report on ladybugs or not.
I just ordered it on Tuesday and I got the kit today! It came with a certificate to get the first packet of ladybug larva so as soon as I send that in and get my packet, I can start raising ladybugs.
I got my ladybug larvae today! Some of them were dead but some are still alive. I put the kit next to my computer at home since I spend the most time there. I can't wait until they become adult ladybugs.

That's cool Pika. But for some reason the word Larvae has always sound gross to me. But I think Ladybugs are so neat looking. Are you going to take pictures to document the process?
pika- 05-23-2005
I might. I don't have to raise the ladybugs for a Biology report anymore but I could still take pictures for my own interest. The larvae look like little caterpillars so they're not like worms.

Here are some pictures of my ladybugs.
This is their home--Ladybug Land:
This is a close-up of them. The white and blue round things are their food:

I love the Ladybug Land home. It's so much cuter than an ant farm.
