The reason Shannon was so short with Boone was because they were step brother and sister and Boone was in love with her, but she didn't feel the same way. But she DID love him as a real brother. So that is why she never seemed close to him. It was one of those love/hate relationships.
Actually there was a little more to it, yes Boone was in love with her and she used that to get him to help her out of the situations she got herself into, and got $$ from him. She was faking abusive relationships to get him to give her money to supposedly pay the guys to leave her, but she was keeping the money. She used him period. She also slept with him too I think, then basically told him to screw off, she wasnt interested.

Even when Shannon fired the shot I still thought Locke got shot in the chest :twisted: :twisted: .....I hope they keep Shannon as a bad guy...unfortunately I don't think they will....she's grieving :roll:
They advertised a psychological warfare between Locke & Sayid....wasn't much of one though. I was hoping for a little more. Can't wait til next week when he shows them the hatch.
I'm surprised at the previews where Sayid's the one who doesn't want to open the hatch.
