The Greater Good episode
Next Episode: Wednesday, May 4, 8/7c "The Greater Good" After burying one of their own, tempers flare as the castaways' suspicions of each other grow -- and an unlikely survivor vows revenge. Meanwhile, Claire and Charlie struggle to calm her newborn. This episode is supposed to be about Sayid.   Can't wait to see what more they'll reveal about him tonight....maybe why/how he's in America and came to be on that plane.

Oh Goodie! On the previews it sounds like that blond skank is asking Sayid to kill Locke. He better not do anything for that two bit tramp. I hate her! She's evil  I dont know why she's even upset about Boone, she didnt give a crap about him anyway unless she needed him to get her out of trouble.

He's already done something he said he'd never want to do again, so I'm hoping they stick with that side of him.....I hate when characters I like turn bad.

It's crazy how she's suppose to get upset about the death of someone she used and abused! She should have been the one to go.

ok the show is long over so I'm posting something! I missed most of it! Argh! Anyway, I know Shannon was upset saying that Locke killed her brother, but the next thing I know she was standing there pointing a gun at Locke. Then Sayid jumps on her for some reason, and the gun goes off and shoots Locke right in the chest/stomach. They all walk away from him. Next time I look, it seems like Sayid did something to help Locke, but for a reason... How did he help him, and what for? Wouldn't that bullet have killed him, or VERY seriously injured him?

Rubini- 05-04-2005

ok so I just found out that the bullet actually just grazed his head, but I swear it looked like a dead on chest shot!

bellirng- 05-05-2005

Does anyone else remember the previews for him getting shot. I know it looked like a chest shot, but I also thought he had on a bloody white t-shirt.

Sada- 05-05-2005

Locke still had on the shirt with Boone's blood on it. Shannon trying to manipulate Sayid and get him to off Locke who is my TOTAL favorite? Bitch. I LOVED Sayid's scenes with Locke. Their mutual distrust was a thing of beauty. Sayid's power of knowing when people are lying to him approaches superhero proportions. And Sawyer can read to me anytime.

Pepette- 05-05-2005

The bloody shirt was the one he was wearing when he carried Boone back to camp then went off on his own. He was washing it out and the boy (Walt?) was watching the blood run out of the shirt. He changed into a brown one, thats what he was wearing when she had the gun on him. The way they edited the promo did make it seem so much worse. I hope she stays mad at Sayid and leaves him alone. I dont want her with him. Let her find someone else to leech onto. The baby wouldnt stop crying but as soon as Sawyer started talking, it got quiet. Sawyer stopped talking, the baby cried again  I got a kick out of Sawyer telling Charlie to get away with the baby, then starts running and Charlie chasing him down the beach with the baby. Next thing you see is Sawyer reading the car magazine to the baby. I felt sorry for Sayids friend when they were playing soccer, you could tell he didnt want to be a suicide bomber. He even mentioned all the innocent victims. But I was pi**ed at the CIA for the threats they made to Sayid to get him to do what they wanted. That just wasnt right.

But I was pi**ed at the CIA for the threats they made to Sayid to get him to do what they wanted. That just wasnt right. From the show's perspective, it didn't seem right. However, I would hope that our government would do whatever possible to keep people from being killed in an explosion like that.

Belvasgirl- 05-05-2005

Well now that we know that Locke was only "grazed" by the bullet on the side of his head, and it was Shannon who shot him, although the previews made you think it was Sayhid, I am wondering what will become of Locke. I am sure he will be an outcast from the group, but Sayhid said he would keep him (Locke) around because he felt that he might be instumental in either keeping them safe or getting them off the island. Does anyone remember what exactly it was that he said? I can rewatch it on Tivo, but I am sure someone here knows !!! Yes the scene with his friend was very sad, especially since his friend seemed to be wanting out. The reason Shannon was so short with Boone was because they were step brother and sister and Boone was in love with her, but she didn't feel the same way. But she DID love him as a real brother. So that is why she never seemed close to him. It was one of those love/hate relationships. Correct me if I am wrong on any of this because I couldn't save all the Survivor shows, the Apprentice and the contender. If my hubby didn't want Contender saved I would have kept all the lost, but we MUST share the Tivo :? Although I pointed out to him I was the reality fan here, not him! Jut kidding, he bought it for me for Christmas.

Re: Episode
I thought the episode was a little dull for the most part.
