I feel that this is completely necessary because these rug rats are so damn popular. Why is this family a favorite? I really don't get it!! I HATE THE GAGHAN FAMILY Dad is an arrogant male PIG that doesn't listen to WHAT anyone tells him because he thinks he is SO damn great that he NEVER needs to listen to anyone else..or get directions...or remove his head from his ass for five damn minutes because that'd be too much!! Don't even get me started on the annoying brats... Everyone is saying she is SO smart. Uh..Hello..She isnt a baby she is like 9. 9 year olds are smart, she is NOT gifted. / end rant.

Wow....what in the world did the kids do that got your panties in such a harsh twist? Do yourself a favor and never have kids...k? Because if singing songs and self amusement bother you to this degree......well, you should understand that stuffing a sock in thier mouths and then locking your kids in a closet is against the law most everywhere :wink:

OMG you can run a mile, congratufrickinlations! :roll: And the kids can shut up about how well they are doing, and stop singing a song. I have to turn the volume down when that little girl starts to talk. And if they knew Washington so well why did it take them 6 hours to find the clue, after staying at the wrong place just wandering? :roll: I hate these people. I want them gone. I don't care if I NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN!

There's something about Tammy and Bill that I despise and something about the kids that gets to me.

And if they knew Washington so well why did it take them 6 hours to find the clue, after staying at the wrong place just wandering? If you had been talking about the Rogers family, or maybe the Schroeder's, I could agree. However, with the sole exception of spending 2 hours (not quite 6) at the wrong reflecting pool in D.C., Bill hasn't needed to ask directions 'cuz he knows how to read a map. He hasn't missed any exits, taken any wrong turns, or bullied his wife or kids into doing it his way. Just off the top of my head, I recall when he followed Tammy's directions when they left the centrifuge in Huntsville. So that thing about never listening to anyone else seems to be a bit of misplaced hyperbole. He didn't listen to Billy's suggestion of asking someone for directions at the reflecting pool 'cuz they thought they were at the reflecting pool (like half the other teams). They used their map to get to the reflecting pool. I generally don't ask for directions when I'm already at a location, but maybe that's just me. Who knew there was another reflecting pool? Even the Aiello boy who lived there for a few years didn't know there was more than one. Mistake. Sometimes imperfect people do that. It sucks. I love kids, just not the Gaghan kids. Most parents I know think highly of their kids. I don't know how smart the kids are, and honestly haven't seen anyone saying Carissa is SO smart--except the parents, but--again--that's pretty normal. But if they were, it sounds SO jealous to be annoyed by the perceived intelligence of a 9-year-old. :wink: And the kids can shut up about how well they are doing, and stop singing a song. Well, except Pepette, who made them squad leaders in the Pool. But still, they are doing quite well. And I don't really know what to say about not liking their singing. :shock: Um...they're kids. Sometimes they do that. And if it is their lack of talent that bothers you, they're still better than some of the folks on American Idol. I think they are funny, well-behaved-for-the-most-part kids that haven't held their parents back despite what most people thought. Hatin' on this team is just misplaced energy. I agree with Pepette; keep that green-eyed monster caged up and appreciate the lack of dysfunction in this family! :cool:

Ah, well. Everyone has a right to their opinion. As long as we're ripping apart people on a show and not each other, it's all good. :grin:

I like the Gaghans. The alternative is the Paolos who disrespect one another and argue the entire race. It's nice to see parents telling their kids when they're doing well and respecting one another. God forbid a nine year old sings a song now and then...... Hate is a pretty strong emotion to feel toward some people on a reality show.

The Gaghans don't annoy me. I thought they would, but they don't. I don't see how they are the #1 most popular team, though. They are kinda boring actually. The number one favorite team should be the Linz family, in my opinion. :wink: And truth be told, I'd rather see a race full of teams like the nicey-nice boring Gaghans than a race full of the bickering teams with spoiled kids with bad attitudes.
