The first team to be eliminated is.... *spoilers* Trista and Fabio (or whatever his name is).
I missed the first dancing duo last night and was flipping between this show and girls college softball but what I saw of this was pretty good. The older guy (can't remember names, sorry) did really good and Joey from NKOTB did really well too. The dance routine for Evander Holyfield wasn't the best, but I really like him and he seems so sweet. They danced the quick step, and for a 250 lb. guy, he did the best he could.
All-in-all, I thought they all did pretty good. And they seemed to be really enjoying themselves. Kind of made me wish my future dh liked to dance so we could go take dance lessons.

Trista cracked me up! When she was practicing the Rumba with Louis, she got all flustered, thought they were getting too close ("I'm a married woman!") and had to go and ask Ryan if it was okay! WTF???
Louis was teaching her how to dance, not have sex with her!! The minute she complained, I knew they were doomed and I'm glad she's gone. That woman has worn out her 15 minutes of reality fame. Next and last stop for Trista Sutter....Surreal Life!!
Evander was too cute. He really tried and I'm glad he's still in the competition. I was impressed with John O'Hurley (the older guy) and Joey. He my have complained the dance steps were "too fast", but he pulled it off!

It really should have been Evander and Edyta who were eliminated first. Considering that leaving is based on lowest points and the judges (maybe not the public) are awarding points based on how good (or bad) the dancing is, theoretically, the best dancers should stay and the worst should leave.
People may be sick of Trista but she is a much better dancer than Evander. I didn't think he was very good last week and the judges gave him higher marks than I would have. This week he was horrendous. The "quick step" was not at all quick with him bumbling his way through it. He also messed up turns and holds. Yes, I know he's only had a few weeks to learn it but all the other celebrities are doing much better at mastering the dances. I don't care for Edyta either...she has no personality.
I don't blame Trista too much for getting Ryan's opinion of the dance routine she was rehearsing. I've done latin dancing and it can be very erotic. I was single back then but I know that my husband would be uncomfortable watching me moving that erotically (although Trista and Louis' dance wasn't that hot) with another man.
As I watched Trista and Louis dance last night, my reaction was the same as the judges'...it was not seductive enough for a latin dance. Nevertheless, they were still much better than Evander and Edyta.

O M, you missed a good couple, the first ones up were Rachel Hunter and her partner. This is JMO of course, but I thought they were the best last night. Holy Leg action!
I thought Evander did good last week but this week not so much. I think he was just to big for that dance..and clumsy. But he tried and I give him lots of credit for that.
Trista.... didnt she want to have a career in Hollywood as an actress? Did she plan on getting Ryans approval for everything she is offered? They did look a little cold for such a hot dance. I was glad she is gone.
The older guy is John O'Hurly, he looks like he is really having fun out there and I was impressed with him last night.
I do think Kelly is getting a bad rap, she wasnt that bad last night IMO. They were looking for hip action and sexiness...she sure had both those aspects down. She deserves credit for staying in that little bit of dress she was wearing.

I thought they've been too hard on Kelly, too. C'mon, she wasn't as bad as the judges made it sound! Evander was worse, IMO.
I'm glad Trista's gone, though. She wouldn't have won in the end anyway so I guess it doesn't matter too much if she left this week, next week, or the next.
I think Rachel's been doing an outstanding job and don't know why the judges haven't given her more credit. They definitely are biased toward their favorite celebrities.

Okay, I watched this stupid show and found myself smiling; freaking enjoying it!  That was unexpected.
I actually appreciated Trista more for being uncomfortable with the dancing hotness. If I was her husband, that would definitely deposit positive credits in my love bank.
I also liked Rachel, and John--that guy is chuckle-icious, I tell ya!
I thought Kelly did well, too. It does seem the judges have a bias.
don't tell anybody I watched this, okay?

The main problem with Trista is that she cares what her husband and people think of her. I don't think she has ever seen Championship ballroom dancers dance or she would know that you have to learn to do the "forbidden dance" of Latino dancing of rubbing your body against your partner nomatter what body parts you are touching with your body to body...... That is what makes that type of dancing exciting. I went dancing at a Latino nightclub and made sure I wore black underwear in case my skirt when up too high by accident as I danced and moved around the dance floor seductively. Sometimes guys pick up your short skirt by accident when they put their arms around your back and you give the audience an extra free show. LOL. I have noticed that the purist Latino dancing men expect you to do the same steps over and over which can be very boring for me to dance.
Trista's major flaw in her first time dancing in the first show was that she had a strange way of moving her hands instead of reaching out to the dance floor like a swan. She was too busy thinking that the movement of her feet was more important than her presense of putting on a dance show with her whole body.

I think Trista's problem was that she was too busy flirting with the cameras and not connecting with her partner. Ballroom dancing is a team effort so you're supposed to work together.

imo.... trista wasn't a star right? so why was she on there......sorry i'm so over her.....

What I don't like about this show is that Trista said she has a herniated disc on her back. Why did they put her on this show for if she has a back problem?
The other gal has vertigo and has to hold on for dear life when her partner turns her around and around. This is what is messing her up.
Some people have the stereotype sp that all black men can dance but Evander has proven that is not true.LOL.
My favorite is John the soap actor. He has such a great sense of humor and when he dances he puts on a show for us. I love his mischevious eyes when he looks at the camera. I think he will win if nothing goes wrong.
