The Black Rock Ok, next we have the black rock.....finallly we know what it is. Now I know we have some people here who will know this. How old is that ship?The first thing to come to my mind is pirates....and since I have no imagination all I can see are the pirates from Pirates of the Caribbean....they just seem to fit the happenings :wink:

I thought it was the ship she was on, the one that crashed onto the island with her and her crew 16 yrs ago. Do you think that wreckage was older than that?

I thought it looked too old to be their ship. It was onlyy 16 years ago she crashed. I taped the show for my daughter last night. I'll check it out again, but I'd have to say it wasn't their ship. Their ship was a research vessell (I think) and all I know about boats is what I've seen on tv, but I don't think their ship would have been made out of wood like that.

Ok, the consensus (sp) seems to be that the Black Rock looks to be a couple hundred years old....that's kind of what I thought. Someone mentioned that there was also a skeleton in manacles or chains...which would have been from a couple hundred years ago.
I think that boat crashed originally a long long time ago and the "others" are the descendents (sp)...I'm guessing they had female captives otherwise...well you know mother nature :wink:
