Thanksgiving Plans
What's everyone doing for turkey day? I'll be in the Keys as usual. As far as I know we have no Thanksgiving plans. Last year we made Thanksgiving dinner at our RV. I got out of washing dishes because I cut my hand while peeling potatoes (and got a few more cuts cleaning fish  ). This year I would like to out for Thanksgiving dinner. I don't know if any of the rest of them will want to go so I'll probably be going into Marathon by myself. If we do have a Thanksgiving meal at the RV, I hope we keep it simple. That's hard to do with my dad. One year at home we planned to do a simple Thanksgiving because my mom wasn't feeling well and my sister and I had never taken on doing a whole Thanksgiving meal ourselves. We were thinking of having the turkey, two sides, and rolls but my dad still wanted to do mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, stuffing, etc. We were like what part of "keep it simple" do you not understand?

We'll be in RI visiting my parents. My Mom always makes Thanksgiving dinner a big thing with lots of sides. It'll be nice though, and I'm sure the neighbors will be invited over.

i think i'm not going to do the whole dinner thing this year (though i might cook a turkey just for the sandwiches)... as far as i know now, my ex-wife and her family are coming up as well as my wife's dad.... right now i'm just stressing about christmas shopping, especially since it comes so fast after the past 6 weeks where all 3 kids had their birthdays... ugh...the holidays...fun and stressful...

It looks like we're staying home and so are the in-laws. We'll do the full Thanksgiving spread even if it's only for me, Hubby, and the kids. The day we do it is in question. It will depend on when Hubby gets off the road. I have one more day of school and then 5 days off. WHOOPIE!!! I plan to do a ton of quilting. I have a quilt I need to finish and get off my quilt rack so I can get the one I'm doing for Smurfy on the rack and finished by Christmas.
