Re: Family Edition I say good riddence to the family edition. I never, ever want to see another family edition of The Amazing Race.
While it was bad, it wasn't as bad as it could've been, I suppose.

I didn't have a problem with the family edition. It was kind of nice to me to see an Amazing Race held in the US. The states were familiar to me even though many of the cities and sites they visited weren't so it made it very interesting.

Re: TAR: Family Edition I liked that this edition took place in the United States too. I just didn't care for the four-member teams. This season would've been a whole lot better if it were the usual two-member teams instead.

I like the Family Edition as a once-in-a-while thing. I'm ready for more 2-person teams and Rob & Amber now.

Re: Gimmick I don't like it when shows get all gimmicky like having a family version. Next thing you know, there will be a twins version of The Amazing Race.
Luckily, this season wasn't much of a hit ratings-wise. This will hopefully mean no more stupid stunts like the family version.
