Taking A Break From American Idol
Like I promised if Taylor won last season, I will be taking a break from American Idol this year. And frankly, I'm a little burned out on the show after five years. But if a decent rocker manages to win this season and I miss it... I'm going to be ticked. Grrr. Anyone else taking a break from the show this season? Anyone else feel the same as me? Just wondering, that's all.

Nope, I'm going to watch it. I love the auditions and maybe some year the audience will get it right and vote in an American Idol I actually like. Or better yet maybe they'll get rid of audience voting and let the judges decide the winner.

No way!! I can't wait for this next season to start. I am so sad that the show's tour didn't come here because I already miss the show SO much. It's really the ONLY show that I have to watch week after week. I can't wait, and I really want to go to one of the shows this time. I've gotten tickets the season before last for the FINALE, but I couldn't go because of finals. Poo.

I just need a break from the show. That's all. I'm not super die-hard fans of the show like y'all. A 6 month break between seasons isn't nearly long enough at this point for me. I'm just so burned out on the show. I'm almost sick to death of it. If I hear that theme music one more time, I feel like I'm going to puke. Ugh. After a year and a half away from the show, I should be refreshed and ready for a 7th season. Assuming there will be a 7th season... which we all know is inevitable.

I like the show and will watch again this year.
