Stan Lee to Appear on Heroes Comics great Stan Lee is slated to appear in an upcoming episode of NBC's Heroes. Two production stills have been released, showing Lee as a bus driver. He is pictured with fan-favorite character Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka). The episode, titled "Unexpected," will air on February 19th. Lee has been the creator of many well-known comics characters, most notably Spider-Man, the Hulk, and the Fantastic Four. He appears in most movies based off Marvel characters, usually in a minor role, but has made larger cameo appearances in movies such as Kevin Smith's "Mallrats." This is not the first fannish in-joke celebrity casting for Heroes; Christopher Eccleston has been guest-starring, and Malcolm McDowell is slated to appear later this season.
