And that's just getting warmed up! Teams that put gas in diesl engines...on more than one race! Teams that completely ignore instructions on clues and get penalties that cost them the race. And......season 1 get a Fast Forward and then...get a hotel room...because surely no one will be able to finish this leg very fast! :roll: (and only get saved because another team gives up on a task and takes a 24 hour penalty!) Dude...there are more stupid than not. No...seriously. :cool:

Are you sure? "Lake Ponchatrain...that's one of the Great Lakes, right?" And...technically...they didn't wait. They went the wrong way and never actually had the chance to "wait." And their allies didn't wait for them. Yes...it was silly and a bit stupid...but not necessarily what they would have "done" either. Despite what they "said."

Here's how I took that comment: "When we park our car, let's throw away any lead we have (5 minutes, 5 seconds, does it make a difference which?), wait for team Double Standard to show up and get our butts eliminated by losing the foot race since I can't run worth a spit." Yes, Lake Ponchatrain was a classic moment in TAR stupidity (and don't forget Rolly's stupid comment about wishing...Lance Armstrong on a the most circuitous route possible through the Wasatch Mountains)...but it was ancillary to the actual race. What Mary said she wanted to do would have had a direct affect on the race.

When are David and Mary going to realize that they are in a race and waiting for their allies/competition is going to cost them? Maybe friendship is more important to them than winning a million bucks? When it comes down to the wire, Alabama are not going to jeopardize any lead they have over the other teams because of their alliance with the woman who is "the stupidest racer ever to compete on this show!!!." Gotta agree 110% with Hak on this one!
