I swiped this from RTVP! Here is the press release from CBS From a CBS press release... The first double eviction on this season’s edition of BIG BROTHER will take place this week with the elimination of two contestants from the house. One houseguest will be sent home on the live show Thursday, August 18 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). Following the live eviction and Head of Household competition, the new HOH will immediately go to the diary room where Julie will inform him/her that they have to nominate two people immediately for eviction. The new HOH will then go back into the living room and nominate two people LIVE on air. The second eviction will be broadcast on Saturday, August 20 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and that person will be become the first member of the BIG BROTHER 6 jury.

That's awesome! I hope Rachel wins HOH.

Groovy; I'm glad they are showing the nominations tonight, too. I hate waiting. I'm pulling for Ivette or James to win. Or Rachel. They ought to make some interesting nominations.

Re: Double Elimination Week
When Julie announced it was a double-elimination week live on air last Thursday, did Howie and the rest of the house think she meant two people would be nominated and both would be leaving? Because Howie and Janelle seemed awfully thrilled that the week was a double-elimination week. When, in fact, it wasn't really anything all that special. Well, except that Janelle's reign as HOH last only 48 hours.

Yes, at least Howie and Janelle thougt they were going to send both Maggie and Jennifer to the sequester house. I think Rachel knew what was going on, and I'm not sure about James or any of the Good Side ( :cool: ) thought. Rachel, Howie, James, and Janelle were talking about that tonight, saying they should have been able to nominate 3 and evict 2 or something; that it wasn't fair Janelle only had a couple of days to be HOH. :roll: Oddly, I shed no tears for the poor girl...
