Simon on Oprah *possible spoiler*
I don't normally watch Oprah but today I did cause Simon Cowell was to be on. Simon cracks me up so I thought I'd watch. Here is some of what was said. Oprah asked about all the craziness that seems to be going on lately. Simon said, "I can take one look at Paula's face and know if it is going to be a good show or a bad show." I'm not sure exactly what that meant, since he didn't expound on it. Oprah asked about his take on Paula and him. He said, "I am like a steak and Paula is the dog. The steak is being dangled in front of her face and she can't have it, so she hates it. Since Paula can't have me, she hates me." Oprah said she didn't believe that. Oprah then showed a clip of Paula's take on their relationship. She said, "He was a brat. That sometimes they get along amazingly and other times it's completely the opposite. Simon, you're right. I want you in the worst way. Like I want gout, toe fungus, or a triple root canal." Oprah asked him of the past AI winners, who does he think is the best. He said as a singer he picks Kelly, but as a person he picks Fantasia. He also said that he doesn't have the likeable factor, but he doesn't care. He also stated that they are like the cast of friends. They all hang out, and have even allowed Paula to come. He said he loves them all. That was the short version of the interview. I enjoyed it.

I didn't catch the Oprah show but I caught the After the Show on Oxygen. Simon was answering questions from the audience and someone asked him about Paula's talent. He pointed out that Brittney Spears is not a great singer but she's a good performer and pretty much said that in her time, Paula was the Brittney of her day. He also commented on the talk about Paula doing a new album and said he's tried to talk her out of...several times.

Ewww another Paula album. She was o.k. back when, but she isn't a great singer. I enjoyed her video with the Scat Cat. The video I think made the song. Thanks for making me throw up a little in my mouth Brinna.

Oprah asked him of the past AI winners, who does he think is the best. He said as a singer he picks Kelly, but as a person he picks Fantasia. Thats weird that he would say that, I wonder what he thinks makes fantasia a better person than Kelly? I wonder if Kellys recent transformation from sweet and shy to sexy siren has anything to do with it? Ive heard Simon say that bit about Paula wanting him several times before, Im curious as to wether he really thinks that or he is just teasing. Is he milking a cute joke or is he really that conceited?

I think when he said Fantasia as a person he was more than likely referring to her personality. I think he is conceited but when it comes to Paula I think he is milking the drama, but I don't think he is really serious. Maybe a bit, but not completely. He did say some nice things about her too. And he said several times that he loved all of them.
