Show summary, Tuesday, 8/23 *spoilers* After winning HOH, Beau met with his teammates in the pantry to discuss who to nominate for eviction. He wanted to put up Rachel and Howie. The plan was to break up their partnership and then go after James.
All of the houseguests went up to see Beau's HOH room. Among other things, he got a picture of his dog, Peanut, a picture of him with his mom and sister, and a "Love Rock". It's a family thing he brought with him that symbolizes that the foundation of their house is love.
The Crapettes moved into the HOH room with Beau and erected their shrine to Eric.
Later on in the kitchen, Howie apologized to April for the insults he made about her husband and her dog but not for what he said about her. She didn't accept his apology since it wasn't sincere.
Before the nomination ceremony, Maggie asked Beau who as individuals he saw as the biggest threat to his group ending up in the finals. He put them in the order of Rachel as the biggest threat, then Janelle, than Howie. Maggie asked him where James fit in the order of elimination and Beau couldn't answer her. He wasn't sure. His initial thought was to get James out later but they don't want to wait too late and possibly have James pick off one or more of their members before they get him out.
At the nomination ceremony, Ivette pulled her key first, then April, then Maggie, then James, then Janelle. Howie and Rachel were nominated for eviction. The truly ironic thing that happened next was Ivette said Rachel was nasty and was a poor sport about being nominated. Nasty? Poor sport? Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black??? Did they expect them to be delighted about being nominated for eviction?
With only 8 people left in the game, the big table where the nomination ceremony takes place was replaced with a smaller table. They all sat around the table and commented on how lucky they were to still be in the game.
Next was the veto competition. Beau selected James to compete with him, Rachel chose April, and Howie chose Janelle. They had to put their swimming suits on and wait in seperate rooms. The competition was called "Get your pairing straight". Their were floaties with pictures of all this season's houseguests heads on them. They had to dive into the pool to retrieve the floaties, one at a time, and match up the secret pairs. When they got all 7 pairs, they pressed a button on a timer to stop the clock.
Howie went first and got a time of 6:20 (six minutes 20 seconds). James went next and got 5:47. April got 9:53. Beau got 6:37. Rachel got 8:52. Janelle got 5:51. James won the veto.
Ivette said he was the champion veto winner of BB history with 4 veto wins. I wonder if that's true or just her opinion???
James chose not to use the veto because he couldn't decide who to save between Rachel and Howie and he didn't want to mess with the nominations put up by Beau's team and get them angry at him so Rachel or Howie will be going home.
