September 6 live feeds Big Brother: All-Stars, September 6 Live Feeds – Three's a Crowd
by Teeuwynn Woodruff -- 09/07/2006
The Big Brother house may seem empty, but sometimes three is a crowd. It’s a crowd that will soon get one smaller, though. Who wins the second part of the HOH competition? Who is doing lots of lobbying? Read on to find out all you want to know! Warning: This article contains spoiler information!
They say two's company and three's a crowd. Let's see if that saying holds for the Big Brother house today. Only Mike Boogie, Erika, and Janelle remain in the house. And apparently the morning sleep fairy is around today because the first one up in the house is Janelle and she arises around 1:30 in the afternoon!
Erika and Boogie also get up. The houseguests slowly prepare for today's trivia competition between Mike Boogie and Janelle. Mike takes a moment to talk to Janelle alone while Erika is in the diary room. He tells Janelle that Erika has a lot of friends on the jury and he'd hate for Janelle to lose the “banana bread” (money) to her. Janelle says she didn't promise Erika she'd take her. Boogie talks to Janelle some more saying she can beat both Erika and Boogie at the end, but has a better chance against him.
Boogie asks if Janelle has found her lucky gloves yet and she says no. Janelle's worried because she always competes in those gloves. They talk about how funny it was that the “endurance” competition ended up being so short. When Erika comes out of the diary room, they all talk about Will's eviction again. Boogie says he's still shocked. It's really hard to imagine being in the house without Will! They all think Will's eviction probably made for really great TV, though.
Janelle asks if Boogie thinks Will is still shocked. Mike Boogie says he thinks Will was surprised, but believed his eviction was possible. They all think Will can recognize that Janelle made a good play and it made great TV. The three then sit for a while wondering when the competition is going to happen.
The houseguests play cards and Boogie spends a lot of time hiding in the diary room. Janelle also spends a lot of time looking for her lucky competition gloves, but can't find them anywhere. She asks Erika and Boogie if they've seen them, but no luck. Janelle's not happy about losing them. It looks like it's making her more stressed about this evening's competition.
After an exciting bit where the houseguests lie around and play cards, they break things up by laying around and not playing cards. Whoo! Don't know if I can't stand this kind of dramatic flip flopping at this stage of the game. First cards, then nothing, then cards again. I'm telling you, it's CRAZY in the house today. Yeesh.
After a while, Erika and Janelle spend yet more time raking the Chill Town boys over the coals of their vengeful rage. They still can't believe how they fell for Will and Boogie's machinations. The girls agree that Will and Boogie are really smart and good TV. But they still hate them. Erika and Janelle move on to discussing Will's eviction and the day before, while they were playing the guys. They talk about all this for a loooooooong time – almost two hours! That also tells you how much Boogie's hiding in the house, either in the diary room or in bed.
When Boogie finally joins them, the talk immediately turns to other things – mostly stuff about this year's show and various houseguests. Erika and Janelle discuss who is hotter, Kaysar or Will. Erika thinks Kaysar is hotter. (Big shocker there.) Janelle says she doesn't think of Kaysar that way and thinks Will is hot. Janelle says Nakomis was her favorite houseguest in season five.
The conversation breaks up and the houseguests do some more primping as they wait for the next competition to start. Janelle seems happy when she's with Erika and Boogie, but when she's alone in the house she often looks sad or starts to sniff. I think she's pretty upset about the whole Will thing.
Janelle and Boogie eventually go to the gym. Boogie's working out. Janelle asks Boogie if he thinks she made the right decision to evict Will. Boogie says she did if she wanted the “banana bread” (money that they might split) all to herself. Boogie says her decision will get him to second place. He doesn't think he has the votes to win it. Janelle says she knows she has a better chance to win against Boogie then she does against Erika.
Boogie tells Janelle he's concerned that Erika has her fooled and that Janelle's taking Erika to the final two. He says Erika's really well liked. Janelle says she knows and she's planning on taking Mike to the final two if she can. Janelle says she thinks Erika believes she can win over Janelle. Boogie points out that Erika's hands are pretty clean. She hasn't had to do to much to folks this season.
The talk turns to Will again. Mike Boogie thinks Will got over his eviction really fast. He points out Will didn't even say hi to Erin when he was on the live show on Tuesday. Boogie thinks the thing between Will and Janelle started out as strategy, but became more. It sure looks to me like Janelle wants to believe that. Erika comes in and joins the conversation. She thinks Will's a great competitor and agrees he'll get over his eviction quickly.
Finally, it's competition time! Boogie has done up his hair using a bunch of small rubber bands. It's... interesting. The producers don't show the competition on the live feeds (darn!). It's after midnight by the time the competition ends and the feeds come back up. Mike Boogie won part two of the HOH competition. It was a trivia event involving lasers and smoke. He was apparently two minutes or so faster than Janelle was. When Erika and Janelle talk they say the competition favored a man because it involved arm strength somehow. Erika and Janelle are unhappy with the results, of course. Erika says now she has to win part three and the pressure's really on her. They discuss whether the competition will be questions about the houseguests. They think it will be, and Janelle offers to help Erika prepare.
When Erika and Boogie talk about the competition, it comes out that Boogie apparently also won a new Buick convertible. He doesn't seen super-thrilled about winning the car. Apparently, that kind of car doesn't go over in L.A.
When Erika goes to the diary room, Boogie and Janelle talk about who Boogie will take to the final two if he wins the HOH competition. Boogie tells Janelle to make her case to him of why he should take her to the final two. They discuss it for awhile.
Later, in the red room, Erika and Boogie talk. Erika holds her bear and questions Boogie about his behavior with her in the house. He's upbeat and trying to convince her that he was playing the game and that Chill Town “became the ultimate floating alliance” and that he thought Erika knew that. Erika says that it really hurts her the way Chill Town (read: Boogie) treated her. Boogie says he doesn't know why she's hurt, because Chill Town took her to the final four like they said they would.
Erika claims she was protecting Chill Town, and Mike counters that they were protecting each other. Erika whispers to Mike about him playing her with the relationship. Mike says when he approached her to hang out before the show he didn't think he'd ever get on the show. He enjoyed being with her and it had nothing to do with the show. (Yeah, right, Boogie.) It sounds like Erika wants to believe him because, as she says, “I really like you.” But Erika says it's difficult because being in the house it's hard to tell when you're getting played.
Boogie is working hard to convince Erika that he really likes her and that he was playing the game but he was really happy that it worked so that they could stay in the game together. He admits he wanted Will to stay, but he really wanted Erika to stay in the game too. It's probably better for him to not have Will in the game, anyway. Boogie's working the loyalty angle hard. He says his mood has come around and he looks into Erika's eyes and says he's so proud “we” won tonight.
Erika starts whispering to Boogie. He talks about how the girls compared notes and how bad it felt. Boogie is being understanding and really, really working Erika to get back in her good graces. He says the REAL plan and hope was that Janelle wouldn't win the veto and then she would get evicted at the final four (although, in reality, it sounded like they planned on keeping Janelle). Erika questions Mike about some other things Janelle told her about Mike's behavior. Mike denies most of it and says she'll see when she sees the tapes.
The conversation continues for a while. It's clear that Erika wants badly to believe Boogie. She obviously likes him and wants to believe in their relationship. Boogie swears on his mother and grandmother that he'll take Erika to the final two if he wins.
Janelle and Erika work on touching up Erika's roots. Then Erika and Boogie chat some more. Erika says she “still wants to have your baby” to Boogie and they kiss. Ugh. Boogie also tells Erika he really likes her and wants a relationship outside the house – completely opposite of what he's said to Will and in the diary room.
Early in the morning, Erika tosses and turns as she tries to sleep. She puts her hands to her head like she's thinking. She's probably trying to convince herself that Boogie's words are true and he really does like her. Oh, Erika. Sigh.
When Erika comes out of the bedroom, Janelle talks to her some more. Janelle tells Erika that Boogie called Erika a snake. She's not happy about that. They talk about the speech Erika will give if she wins HOH. She says she will say, “I'm sorry, Janelle, but you will have to wear the red dress, because I'm going to wear the black. Boogie, I vote to evict you.”
Erika bemoans the pressure on her to win the competition. Janelle and Erika talk over the houseguests and possible questions Big Brother might ask during the HOH competition. Janelle and Erika agree that they were both hoping Janelle would win the contest against Boogie. Then Janelle says Boogie thinks he can beat Erika. Janelle gives Erika a pep talk about the HOH contest. She says she knows Erika can beat him. Erika says, a bit disconsolately, that she will do her best. Janelle points out that if Erika wins HOH and evicts Boogie she'll have a great chance of winning the whole game because she'll be the one who evicted Mike Boogie.
Janelle comforts Erika and keeps telling her how great she'll do in the contest. They're a bit worried because Mike is good at the math parts of the tie breaker questions. Finally, around 5:30 am, both women head off to bed.
To sum up, most of today was spent rehashing the show again. Janelle and Erika also spent a lot of time talking about the Chill Town boys. Erika and Boogie had a long talk in which it seemed like Erika still desperately wants to believe Boogie about their relationship. It seems likely that if Boogie wins HOH tomorrow, he'll evict Janelle. It's less clear who Erika plans on evicting right now if she wins HOH. I guess we'll just have to wait until the live show to see what happens!
