Richard
This guy has 9 lives. I feel sorry for Chuck cause Richard is going to make his life miserable.

I didn't like Richard's lame pick-up line for his dates. If a guy said he felt ill because he was going to ask me out, I'd probably turn him down. For cripes sake, say you feel great because you're about to ask the most wonderful woman in the world out for dinner and then say, so, will you have dinner with me? Plus, the fact that he used the exact same line on all the girls he asked shows that he didn't consider their individual personalities. I don't think he really cared which one he got to go out with. I'd like to know that I guy asked me out because he wants to be with me, not just because he's trolling out this line to every female in the vicinity hoping one will bite.

I think Richard came on this show for the exposure and the chance to say he's kissed a girl

I hated to see Bill and the Blonde Shopper lose out last night, but I like Mindi, and I love to see Richard antagonize Chuck. Richard is totally dorky...probably the only "true" nerd on the show as far as appearance and behavior. Still, Chuck is a control-geek that just gets on my nerves so I'm glad to see that Richard will be able to get under his skin one more time.   I think Richard came on this show for the exposure and the chance to say he's kissed a girl     Two girls now! And I thought the same thing about Richard's pick up lines, pika. The blonde handled it very well, I think; she appeared to be authentically eager to say yes, which was pretty nice considering she was his 3rd pick and, well, he's just way nerdy.

At first Richard came across as merely pathetic but with all of his antics in the last episode, he has crossed the line to irritating. I was so disappointed that Mindi answered so well (I like her) and kept her team on the show.

cracks me up.  Chuck lets him get under his skin too easily

cracks me up.  Chuck lets him get under his skin too easily He does, but if you've ever spent any time with anyone like Richard, it does get to you. Hubby has a friend who is just as annoying......(a few of us considered getting rid of him   )....

Hubby has a friend who is just as annoying......(a few of us considered getting rid of him   ).... Oh yeah. I can only stand so much of his kind of humor before its crosses the line into annoyance. I dont really think its so much that he gets under Chucks skin, though Chuck could stand to loosen up some. I think its more about, they are there to learn form the other side. To learn how to be more socially outgoing and less geeky. But Richard hasnt really changed or learnt anything. He is still perpetuating the stereotype of smart people being geeky and awkward. I think Chuck see that himself and the rest have all grown somewhat and Richard is still an annoying geek.

Hubby's been saying he's going to take this game and I think he may be right.

In the last episode he was doing his best to provoke Chuck (and it worked) but he was also annoying everyone else. The girls defended him for a little while but then even they were telling him to cool it.

I would probably tire of Richard quickly in person, but I don't like Chuck's superiority complex and it just tickles me to no end when Richard antagonizes him. Unfortunately, he uses the "shotgun" approach and seems to annoy everyone, instead of just his intended target. Still, I'm pulling for him and Mindi to win it, for Mindi's sake.
