I voted for 3 people this week..... Carrie, Scott and Anwar. I like Scott's voice, I just think he just tries to do to much with it. It seems like some people dont like him because of the way he looks and want to insult his voters. I dont care how he looks, I like his voice. And I am niether overweight nor ugly. I like the songs he sings and like his style at times. But I agree his personality is wearing thin on me lately after the Fantasia-like outburst about how millions of people didnt have the guts to do this... blah blah blah. I am rooting for Carrie and Anwar at this point.

Like you, Realitysista, I liked Scott during the audition stage and the Hollywood stages. I was rooting for him to get through those stages back then. He does have a great voice, but that's about it - he is boring as heck on stage. He has somewhat of a personality, but it's not all that great of one. He comes across to me as someone with a lot of negativity and anger. I don't know, maybe I'm just reading too much into him. Anyway, I just don't get how he has survived and some better singers have been eliminated.

I'm glad to see that at least some of the folks who keep Scott in this thing are normal folks that aren't trying to pull a silly stunt. :grin: I pulled for Scott early on, but he needs to mature both personally and musically before he can be considered seriously as an American Idol. Like Anwar did in the early rounds, Scott is just way too shaky at the beginning of songs. Anwar has either improved his singing or chosen songs that steer clear of challenging openings. Scott is also the least consistent of the ones remaining, and when his attitude is factored in, forget about it. More consistently good singers have already gone home; let Scott join them this week. Please. :wink:

Well, I would cry if Constantine got voted off in the next couple of weeks. He's so much more entertaining than the rest. Everyone else is dullsville compared to Constantine.
