Results Show Rant * Yes, It's A Spoiler * A few comments about tonight's results show.
1) Why drag this thing into an hour??? Ratings whores!
2) Bo is one classy, laid back dude! His attitude about the competition is refreshing to me, and the fact that he went to high-five and hug Scott during his "bottom 3 song" (which I certainly would not have done) was a sure-fire sign of integrity. I love this guy!
3) Nadia, too, has class and made her exit gracefully. Funny thing is, I thought her song last night was one of her best.
4) Who in the fiery red blazes of Satan's Kingdom is voting for Scott??? When Ryan told Bo & Nadia to step back to let Scott go sit down 'cuz he was safe, I just stared at the TV dumbfounded. Clearly, evil fills the planet.
5) Next week's theme is "This Show Sucks". Everybody sings whatever song they want and then everyone but Scott draws straws to see who goes home. Scott, of course, is exempt from elimination because this show sucks!

Jasmine Trias' fans from last season have a new champion to vote for.
I wonder if a bunch of college students have formed a voting alliance trying to get a bad singer voted American Idol just for the heck of it.

I wouldn`t be a bit surprised. It surprises me every week, when he`s safe.
I can`t stand him!! and I dislike his voice.
Only Anthony is worse to me.

I dont watch the results show. Ryan annoys the crap outta me, the judges annoy me and the fact that Scott is still there really annoys me.
I too would like to know who is voting for Scott and why. I know absolutely nothing about singing and even I was able to tell Scott sucked royally last night. He wasnt hitting the notes right or something..it was so glaringly obvious and if I'm picking up on it, then it must be REALLY bad.

I once again think that Bo made a complete ass out of himself. This show is just a bet to him. Freaking jackass. Some people are there to accomplish a dream, and he doesn't even care...Go home.

Ugh I think Scott should have left too! When he was told first he was in the bottom three, he looked angry and when he started singing his song saying "Take a look at me now" he was saying it with such force and pointing rapidly, I don't know, was it just me or did he look like overwrought with anger? He just freaks me out a bit.
I don't know why all the girls are getting voted off while the guys get an easier ride. Jessica was better than some of the guys there, and Nadia certainly was as well.
On a sidenote, The crew puts way too much makeup on Anthony. HELLO, brozer overload!!

Where are all these Scott fans?????? Do jails get a vote too? Scott is the least charasmatic, most annoying, most lifeless performer out there. His idea of performing and busting a move is to shuffle his feet every 4th note. I don't even think he has the charisma to sway his body to the music. He belongs in a washed up boy band.

Something has to be up. I wonder if they can track the calls and see if there is a disproportionate number coming from one town or something?
I once again think that Bo made a complete ass out of himself. This show is just a bet to him. Freaking jackass. Some people are there to accomplish a dream, and he doesn't even care...Go home.
Do I have to get out the frozen grapes now? Don't be hatin' on Bo just because he has his head on straight and realizes that AI is not the end of the road for any of them. There is life after AI, and stressing out or getting mad over the possibility of being eliminated is pointless, and even childish. Case in point, Scott. Rubi's observations are dead on:
When he was told first he was in the bottom three, he looked angry and when he started singing his song saying "Take a look at me now" he was saying it with such force and pointing rapidly, I don't know, was it just me or did he look like overwrought with anger? He just freaks me out a bit.
Scott looked like an upset, bitter child on the brink of a tantrum.
Also, wasn't it Bo during the first half of the show that said Wednesdays were the worst day 'cuz that was elimination day? I had a recording glitch and didn't get to see that part, I heard it on the radio. Anyway, if it was Bo, then it is clear to me that he does care about winning, he's just not consumed with it.

I posted a similar thing in RTVP that I'm about to post here and once again I hope I don't offend anyone. I've been thinking about the Scott voters. The thought that popped into my head is that maybe he has cornered the overweight viewers. I like his voice WHEN he picks the right songs, which he has only done maybe 50% of the time. I think there have been better contestants voted off. There are probably voters out there voting for him because he is just the opposite of the ideal pop star.
They are probably simpathetic to that. Maybe the same people who voted for Reuben are now voting for him. Not that Reuben was bad, but I don't think he should have won. I personally don't see why Anthony is still in either, just like last season when the young red-headed kid (can't remember his name) stayed in for so long. It absolutely drove me nuts last year. I think his voters have become Anthony's voters this year.
I think Nadia would have left eventually, but last night shouldn't have been the night.

I like Scott alright. He's not the best singer and performer but I like him better than Bo and Constantine. I like Bo a little better since the last interview with him. He has a good attitude about the show and I have to admire that. I think he's there for the right reasons and won't be too broken up if he isn't chosen as the American Idol. It's good for contestants to take the show seriously but not too seriously. Their value as a human being doesn't hang on how well they do in the competition and there is life after American Idol.

Well, looks like we finally found who's doing all the voting for Scott. Excatly how many times do you dial Scott's number, Daisy? 1 million?
realitysistapartdeux- 04-15-2005
Well, once again, i'm in the minority. I don't think Scott is all that bad. I do, however, think he sounded much better in his audition and I expected a lot more from him.
