Result Shocker! *spoilers*
How in the world did Lisa make the bottom three and Kevin, Kellie, AND Bucky are still safe? Bottom three was Ace, Melissa, and Lisa. I was glad Ace was there. It should be a wake up call to him because he can't just get by with his looks, he needs to sing well. Needless to say, I cannot believe Kevin is safe! I predicted Melissa would go. She forgot her lyrics, and she was pitchy.

Her Grace- 03-16-2006

Once the final three were down ther, I knew it was Melissa, beforehand I really thought it was going to be lil Kevin.

Melissa wasn't a shocker..

I wasn't surprised to see Melissa go either, you just can't forget your lyrics!! I was surprised that Kevin wasn't in bottom 3 though, and yeah, I agree that Ace needed a wake up call. I hope that he comes out next week and rocks the house down. What's the theme next week anyway?

Re: Kevin
Every week that Kevin doesn't go home is a shocker to me. Sheesh.

I just realized .... Idolfan said PITCHY!!! What's it mean???? Does it just mean that they sing off-key or what? I've always wondered.

pika- 03-20-2006

I always think of pitchy as meaning off-key. Unable to find and sustain the right key, the singer sings too sharp or too flat or may waver between the two.

Re: Pitchy
I always thought pitchy was just a made-up term by the AI judges. Before the show came on tv, I had never heard the term.

just bradley- 03-21-2006

I still think it's a made-up term. But I dont' know what a key is, or any singing terminology. I just know what sounds good to my ears and what doesn't.

Brinna- 03-21-2006

I don't know how good an ear Paula has. I trust Randy more, as a musician, when he says someone was too sharp or too flat. My guitar teacher has a good ear and he can always pick out an off note and know what was wrong and what it should have been.
