Recap, Week 7 (8/20)
CHILLTOWN IN DA HOHOUSE! Jedi Goes Bye-Bye, 3-2. George's short lived HoH backfires for his Jedi Master Howie, who is evicted in a 3-2 double-cross by Chilltown. Boogie pulls out all the stops to win the HoH, which effectively nullifies his Coup d'Etat power. APPRENTICE GRADUATES TO HOH MASTER Marcellas' eviction signals to Janelle that she is being deceived. "I feel like a fricken fool," she bitches in the Diary Room. "From now on, I'm going to do what I want, what's good for me." George's win in the HoH Competition has not only the HouseGuests scratching their heads, but also George. "I won something, Howie," he celebrates with his Jedi Master after the game. "Did I just lose to Chicken George?" Danielle sighs, disbelieving the outcome. George's surprises don't stop there though, as host Julie Chen asks George for two immediate nominations for eviction. George taps James and Erika, sending shockwaves through the house. Erika is tired of being on the block, while James launches into a vengeful new rant in his bedroom, "It's on, fat man, it's on. He's got two days of power, and then his ass is mine." Boogie feels stymied by George's immediate nominations as he assembles with his Legion pals in the gym, growling, "That was the worst person to do live, because he didn't know. We didn't have time to get to him." Danielle hopes that George might backdoor Janelle, as "that's one less person I have to worry about in this game." According to Boogie, George's HoH Room is a "really cool throwback 70s thing." For George, he likes the space for its Austin Powers feel. Letters from home bring a smile to George's face and heart as he is reminded "of the way things should be in life." His peaceful reminiscence is short-lived, though, as his housemates start some intense lobbying efforts. Janelle and Howie are the first to state their case. At ease with the last remaining members of S-6, George reassures them, "If I was going to go after you guys, I would have already done it. Why would I go after you guys?" CARDS ON THE TABLE George calls everyone to the living room to pick players for the Veto Competition. George draws Howie's name, Erika draws Danielle and James pulls out Will's name. James is psyched that he will be playing the PoV with three of his Legion allies, and Boogie is eyeing an opportunity to backdoor "queen bee" Janelle. Boogie heads upstairs to talk with George. Asking the chicken man to see the "big picture" of what the house wants, he tells George that James is the wrong target. The house really wants Janelle out, and George goes along, he will get "a pass to the back of the line for another couple weeks." George listens, but does not appear too enthused by Boogie's suggestion. GNOME NIGHTMARE The PoV Competition sees the return of the BIG BROTHER Gnomes in "Gnome is Where the Veto Is." Will is not impressed, moaning, "There's three things I hate in life: robot clowns, baby corn and freaky little gnomes." Janelle runs over the rules. The HouseGuests have to carry their Veto symbol from one stump across to a winning spike on a distant stump. The problem is that they are locked into ankle restraints tethering them where they are. To unlock the restraint, they have to reach a key hanging out of reach. To reach their key, they are only able to use tape and the leftover items from past PoV Competitions. From pink flamingos to hula-hoop, the HouseGuests do their inventive best to construct a tool to reach their keys. James is a veritable Einstein and reaches his bag after a few aborted efforts, freeing himself first to win the PoV. "Go to hell, bitches," he snarls, slamming his Veto symbol onto the winning spike. James' win starts a whole new round of lobbying for George to endure. First, James drops in, asking who George is going to replace him with on the block. George stays mum on the subject. Next, Erika visits, striking a deal for a new alliance. Then it is Boogie's turn to manipulate the chicken man. In a subtly intimidating way, Boogie points out the numbers and asks what side George wants to be after the vote is cast. Will follows Boogie, but his offer is a more "unconventional" suggestion to put Will on the block. This way, Will explains, "it will keep peace in the house this week, (and) allow Janelle and Danielle to continue to war with each other, while Mike Boogie and I, and you sit back and watch." George buries his head in his hands as all the suggestions seem to become too much for him. SLEEPING DOGS AND LYING LIARS George brings Janelle and Howie into the HoH Room for some plain truth. "All right, Janelle, the whole house wants you out because you are the baddest player." Janey is curious, "James too?" George shines a light on her so-called ally: "James too." Crestfallen, Janelle replies, "What a weasel. This sucks." George assures Janey that he won't nominate her because he respects her too much as a player, but he also asks to join their alliance. Janelle and Howie agree to let him in, and to his last "favor request," they agree not to vote against Erika. Everyone is smiling as they part. Erika drops by the HoH Room for an update with her new ally, George. After swearing her to secrecy, he reveals he is going to put up Will. Erika begs him not to nominate him, as that will mean her eviction. When she leaves the HoH Room, Erika immediately tells Boogie and Erika. Boogie is mightily annoyed, and while everyone is waiting for the PoV Ceremony to begin, Boogie confronts George in front of everyone. In a less than subtle bully-move, Boogie reminds him of the Coup d'Etat, and the fact that it may very well be used against him if he puts Will up. He also reminds George that Chilltown has helped save him in the past, and he is effectively biting the hand that feeds him. Boogie doesn't let go of the point until the ceremony is called. As everyone leaves the bedroom, Danielle pulls the door shut and Erika asks George for his last-minute thoughts. George asks, "What if I put up Howie?" The two women beg and plead with him to go with that nomination. Once in the living room, George turns his decision on a dime and nominates his Jedi Master, who does not take the news well. "I saved you last week, Georgie," Howie whines. Immediately after the ceremony, Howie looks a little desperate as he tries to lock in votes. "Howie, settle down," Janelle advises, and even Will tells him to chill. Howie heads to the gym to ask Boogie for his vote, "Am I stayin'? Am I stayin'?" he hustles. "Bros before hoes?" Boogie smiles and assures him he has his vote. Soon after Howie leaves, James and Will join Boogie in the gym to discuss their votes. In the end, the boys appear to be leaning towards evicting Howie rather than keeping him. They don't realize that Howie is listening outside the gym door. BITTER PILL OR BITTER CHILL Julie reminds the HouseGuests of the Coup d'Etat, and asks if the holder of the power will use it. No one stands, so she calls for the first vote to be cast. Danielle casts her vote to evict Howie, James votes to evict Erika, and then Janey follows suit. Will and Boogie follow respectively, both voting to evict Howie. The votes have now been cast, and Julie announces to Howie that he has been evicted. Howie is unimpressed as he leaves the house, almost picking a fight with Boogie over his barefaced lies. Boogie, shown up for his treachery, postures and yells back, but the truth is in the votes. Julie welcomes Howie and asks him what just happened with Boogie. Howie admits that he knew Chilltown would betray him, and gives his thoughts on George's backdooring him: "He's doing what he has to for his family." PIES IN THE EYES The HoH Competition, "The Return of the Gnomes," has a question-and-answer format. The HouseGuests answer the questions by placing their heads in a hole marked True or False. An incorrect answer means a pie in the face and elimination. The last remaining HouseGuest is the new HoH. Danielle, Erika and James are eliminated on the first question. Will is next to go, then Janelle. Mike Boogie is the new HoH. Chilltown are finally in the HoH Room. Janelle is the last remaining member of S-6 and Boogie's professed target. Is this the end for Janelle? Who will Boogie nominate? Find out on the next episode of BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS, at a special time, Tuesday, August 22, 9pm ET/PT, only on CBS. http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother7/show/wk07/sun01.shtml

Big Brother: All-Stars, August 20 – Stupid, Stupid People by David Bloomberg -- 08/21/2006 There is a lot of action packed into a single Sunday night. Veto competition, veto ceremony, vote, eviction – it’s all right here. Do George’s nominations stand? Can George stand up to the pressure? Who goes home – and what do they do when their eviction is announced? Read on to find out! On Thursday night’s episode, we said goodbye to Marcellas and hello to new HOH George. But he was in a surprise when he had to make his nominations on the spot. At the time, I said it was good for him because he didn’t have to be subject to the intense lobbying that surely would have occurred otherwise. Ah, but wait – there’s still the veto to worry about. How will everybody react to the nominations? Will we have a veto winner who uses it? Will Mike use the Coup d’Etat power? There’s a lot of action in this one episode, so let’s get to it! We start with Julie Chen making a special appearance on Sunday night (though I’m sure it was taped earlier). We relive Marcellas’ eviction and Janelle tells us she had no idea he was going. “People are liars,” she says. Er, she has played this game before, right? She adds, “I feel like a fricking idiot.” No comment. Mike Boogie tells us Marcellas acted like a baby when he left (he did?) and Mike is happy to have orchestrated his demise in the game. Howie relives Marcellas leaving too, saying he just grabbed his bag and pushed past people to leave. We see a better view of this and, indeed, that’s what he did. But I don’t think it’s that bad, really. It’s not like he threw a tantrum – he just wanted to leave and so he left. Danielle hopes Marcellas understands her decision to help evict him was strategic, not personal. Janelle and Howie pull James aside and she asks what happened. Apparently, she really didn’t know until the vote that Marcellas was going. I figured she did ‘cus Howie did. But James says he found out how the vote was going to go. She asks how. He says, “Because I do that.” The hidden message there was, “I play the game, you don’t, dummy.” Anyway, he says he didn’t tell her because he didn’t want her to start anything up and then have the others come after her. Janelle tells us it was a bad HOH and she was essentially screwed over by the rest of the house. From now on, she’s going to do what she wants and she won’t listen to anybody else. Er, didn’t she do that last time she was HOH and that’s what caused James to turn on her? Yup. Cut to the end of the HOH competition, where neither George nor Danielle could do basic math, but Danielle was the worse of the two. He tells us he can’t believe he won. Neither can I. Janelle was happy to see George win instead of Danielle, since she knows Danielle would have nominated her. Erika, on the other hand, wanted Danielle to win. But she says she wasn’t surprised that George won because she believes he’s smarter than he lets on. Um, Erika, he gave a really stupid answer to the tie-breaker question – it was just that Danielle gave a really stupider answer! Danielle assures us she did not throw the competition. Like I said, really stupider (and no, I don’t care if “stupider” is a word or not!). She says George is one of the scariest people in the house because nobody knows what he’s doing. I agree – and I would include George himself in that “nobody.” We relive George’s nominations of James and Erika, and now George explains them to us. He picked James because James had previously nominated him – which is what I figured. Erika was more difficult, but she was just a pawn so James would be evicted. I’m thinking Erika is getting really tired of the pawn role. Danielle can’t figure out what George is thinking – he knows everybody wants Janelle and Howie gone! Erika wants to talk to George to find out what’s going on, so she does. He says he had no choice because he owes George, but she is meant to stay. Howie and James also talk, and James is not happy. Howie doesn’t think it was a smart idea, and James agrees, saying George only has two days of power, “and then his ass is mine.” Well, only if you’re still around, James. Mike Boogie tells us he knew they were headed for a mess when George had to make a live nomination before anybody could get to him. But he believes they can now talk him into backdooring Janelle. Danielle and Mike are going to give it a shot. George announces the opening of the HOH room, decked out in lime green with bright yellow chairs. Danielle tells him he gets to sleep by himself and can snore as much as he wants. He also gets pictures of his family, and Howie declares his daughter “Hot!” Yeah, that’s just what every dad wants to hear from a guy who walks around talking about female body parts. He also gets letters from his family, which he reads and gets all teary-eyed about, as you might expect. With that behind them, Howie and Janelle start lobbying George to do things their way. He wants his nominations to stick, so Janelle says she’ll fight for veto and not use it. She tells us she feels really safe. “Thank God for George.” George tells Janelle and Howie that if he was going to go after them, he’d have already done it. Time for the veto competition! Well, the picking, anyway. George has the first random pick – Howie. Erika picks Danielle. James gets Will, and tells us he’s feeling pretty good because he’s playing with three people from the Legion of Doom. Mike tells us how excited he was that Janelle would not be playing, because they might be able to get rid of her now. In the hour between picking who will play and the actual competition, Mike asks George who he thinks the house, in general, wants out. George shows his cluelessness by saying, “James.” Mike tries another line and flat-out tells George that Janelle did not save him, the others did – specifically himself, Will, and James. So this is a golden opportunity to get rid of her, and the votes are already there if she is nominated. If George does what they want, Mike tells him he’ll get a free pass to the “back of the line” for another couple weeks. OK, now it’s time for the veto competition, which Janelle is announcing. There is a forest in the backyard, with gnomes and stuff like that. But why are there tree stumps with veto competitor names on them – with chains? For each player, there is also a hula hoop, plastic sign, spatula, rubber ball, pink flamingo, etc. Janelle announces that the gnomes are holding the contestants against their will in the spooky gnome forest. They really shouldn’t let the Big Brother contest creators make stuff up while they’re on serious drugs. Will says there are three things he hates: Robot clowns, baby corn, and freaky little gnomes. Ooookay then. Janelle continues that the gnomes have left behind items from previous competitions. In order to escape their bonds, the contestants have to use the items to reach a golden bag some feet away. Inside the bag is a key to set them free and grant them the veto. And they’re off! Most people begin taping items together to try to get to the key, while Will just throws his rubber ball at it, apparently hoping to knock it and make it come back to him by some magic boomerang action that goes against the laws of physics. Howie thinks he has a pretty good chance as he’s taping things together, while Mike says it’s kind of sad to see Janelle having to sit by and watch with Howie being her only hope, because he can barely tie his shoelaces. Various people are taping things together and reaching for the bag. Will seems to be trying to turn the hula hoop into a lasso by using the duct tape as rope. But James is the first to get anything worthwhile, as he has attached the spatula to the hula hoop and streeeetches himself to hook the bag and drag it back to him. He takes out the key, unlocks himself, and gets the veto! And I’m pretty sure he says, when he wins, “Go to hell, bitches!” Yikes. Howie tells us they should have named the golden power of veto as “the golden power of James.” Yes, I believe we did name it that last season, in fact. James and George talk in private, with James saying he’s obviously here for another week because his name is not Marcellas and he uses vetos (obviously referring to Marcellas’ failure to use a veto to save himself in his original season, which earned him the fastest induction into the Reality TV Hall of Shame ever). He tells George he has a very important decision ahead of him and hopes George will play it right and see what the other players want to do. Erika also talks to George, saying when she won HOH (well, sort of won, I guess), she turned to him first. He has to talk to somebody. But he says he doesn’t feel he has anybody he can talk to. She assures him that he has her. George asks who on the block against her would give her the best shot of staying in the game. She says Janelle or Howie. He says from now on, he’ll work with her, and they shake on the new alliance. Mike Boogie comes to visit next. He tells George he should go after the most feared person in the house, Janelle, and most of the people who might get the next HOH would think well of him. George says he knows what he has to do. Will is in the HOH room now, suggesting that George nominate him, and then everybody would vote out Erika. George can’t believe what he’s hearing. Will says it will keep peace in the house and allow Danielle and Janelle to continue their war against each other while Chill Town and George sit back and watch. Janelle and Howie are up, and George tells them the whole house wants Janelle out because she’s such a good player. “James too?” she asks. Yup, James too. Wow, don’t tell George a secret! “What a weasel,” she says. The jig is up. George says that Janelle is a good player and for him to do that to her would go against every principle he stands for. “I can’t do it to you.” But he wants to join up with them in return. They all agree. One more thing. They have to promise they’ll keep Erika in the house one more week. Janelle and Howie ponder. Howie asks George if he’s going to sell Howie out. No. They want Janelle out. So they agree to keep Erika – Janelle then tells us they would have agreed to anything at that point! George tells them that what he’s going to do today will turn the game around. Hmmm. Now Erika is back! Who is George going to nominate? He says she doesn’t want to know. She says they made the deal that they’d talk – she won’t tell anybody, though. He says he’s going to put Will up, but Erika about breaks down and tells him not to because she will go home. He doesn’t think so, saying he has the votes to keep her. But Erika knows that Janelle would have said anything to keep herself off the block (indeed, that’s just what Janelle said!). Erika says Janelle is in love with Will, no way she’ll vote him out. She begs him not to do it. Showing how much her word to George meant, Erika tells Mike and Danielle about what George said, and adds, “He’s out of his mind.” They bitch to each other for a while (obviously, Will didn’t bother to tell any of his allies about the pitch he made to George) and can’t understand why he would protect Janelle and Howie. They had to fight Janelle and Howie to keep him off the block! I don’t know why Mike is so upset – he has the Coup d’Etat power anyway and can nominate almost whoever he damn well pleases if George doesn’t do things Mike’s way. Almost time for the veto ceremony. As they’re waiting around, Howie says George looks really nervous, sweat dripping down his face and everything. As the group sits there, Mike decides to speak up. He says if George is thinking about nominating Will, Mike won’t let their game be sacrificed that way. He wants to know why that would happen. Mike tells us that George can be influenced by just about anybody, so he wanted to make sure his voice was the last one George heard before having to make a decision. George says fine, let’s air out everything. He doesn’t think it’s fair to Janelle, who has put a lot into the game, to just throw her under the bus. Mike says he’s not naming Janelle – it can be anybody, why Will? George says Dr. Will is the best player in the game (well, he’s right about that). Will says he’s flattered. He also tells us that, whoops, he forgot to tell Mike about his conversation with George! Mike is very protective of him and wasn’t happy about the potential nomination. Continuing with the discussion, Mike asks if George wants Will out. George says he doesn’t want anybody out. Uh, George, then you’re playing the wrong game. Mike says when people take care of you, you should take care of them. Mike says they put in a big effort to save him last week. George wants to know if that’s true and Mike says it is, and points to Janelle and Howie, saying he’d like to hear what they have to say. Janelle says it was between Mike, George, or Marcellas, and shrugs. Will says he’ll take the blame for Marcellas leaving by the way he influenced Janelle – but it was to save Mike and George. “And that’s the truth.” George wants to know what Howie has to say. “Uuuum. I don’t know. I think we’ve covered everything.” Good answer, Howie. Mike also points out that there is a new power in the house that somebody has. He is not confirming or denying who might have it, but there is a general belief in the house as to who has it (I guess most of them believe Mike has it, which, of course, he does) and says that Julie said the person with the power will be able to change the face of the game. Is that something George wants to go up against? He says he’s probably up against that anyway, and Mike just shakes his head and laughs derisively. James calls everybody into the living room for the veto ceremony. Most of them get up to go, but George keeps Danielle and Erika in the red room with him and they close the door. He wonders, “What if I change it up and go after Howie?” Both of them tell him, “Do it!” repeatedly. So the ceremony begins. James says he obviously is vetoing himself, so George has to put up a replacement. George says there was a discussion in the red room and he’s glad Mike said something because Mike did, in fact, save him. Janelle shakes her head and prepares herself for the worst. He adds that Dr. Will saved him too. But he won’t go after Janelle because she has played the game very well. And he won’t go after Danielle. So that leaves only one person left. Howie is nominated. Howie doesn’t take it well, pointing out that George promised him twice. George says he didn’t promise him. Howie continues that George is listening to people who tried to sell him out. Really? When? And if it’s true, maybe Howie should have said more than, “Uuuum,” when George asked if he had anything to say earlier. Howie continues, insisting that his group has the others outnumbered and it’s a “free week” for him. George restates what he said before – Mike made sense, Dr. Will saved him too, he won’t go against Janelle. Howie insists that he saved George and was the biggest motivating factor for it. Again, maybe Howie should have opened up his mouth a few minutes ago! The rant continues and George says he didn’t want to do it, but he had to. Howie says that’s fine, he’ll be influenced by people who say they have to take away somebody’s crutch and helper. But Howie says the joke is on them. George asks if anybody else has anything to say. Nope. So James adjourns the meeting. Howie, Janelle, James, and Will hit the red room and both Will and Janelle basically tell Howie he was an idiot for ranting about how they have the numbers, because it provides information to Danielle and indicates that Chill Town is with them. Howie asks Will if he has Will’s vote. Yes. “Swear to God?” Yes. Oh yeah, like that means anything. Janelle tells Howie that he has to settle down. Will tells us that Howie is doing more harm than good by asking for votes. If he were smart, he’d have Janelle campaign for him – “he’s doing a horrible job and it might be his downfall.” Will and Janelle try to explain to Howie that he can’t yell at George and say he’s going to destroy him and stuff like that. “Quit yelling at people,” will tells him. Howie heads to Mike Boogie and asks if he’s going to keep him. Yeah, of course. You got it! Howie says he’s completely confident he has Janelle and James (really – even after George said James was out to get Janelle?), so he just needs Mike or Will. They both looked him in the eye and promised him, so he’d hate for them to have to go back on their promises. Howie asks Mike Boogie about a dozen more times in the same conversation if he’s staying. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. But Mike tells us that the house is full of lies and if anybody thinks they can play it without lying the whole way through, “well, you’re lying to yourself.” Now Will drops the bomb on Mike: “We gotta get rid of Erika, man!” James joins the conversation as they debate it. Erika would be better to go home, because Howie is a weak player – but he’s aligned with Janelle. Will says if they want to vote out Howie, that’s okay, but they need James to do it with them. Howie, meanwhile, stands outside the exercise room, where this little conversation is happening, listening in. Uh oh. James doesn’t want to vote against Howie because he’s supposed to be in an alliance with him and Janelle. The Chill Towners shoot back, “So are we!” Heh. Back and forth they go, and Will tells us it’s coming down to the last minute – he doesn’t know yet who is going! Hey, look, Julie Chen is back! It’s time to head to the living room to find out who will be going home. First, does the holder of the secret power want to use it? Nobody speaks up. Time to vote. Danielle votes to evict Howie. James votes against Erika. So does Janelle. Will votes to evict… Howie. As does Mike. So it’s official – Howie is going home. Julie announces the results: by a vote of three to two, Howie is evicted. He stands up and hugs James, Erika, George, Danielle, and Janelle. When Mike goes to say goodbye, Howie grabs Boogie’s hat off his head and throws it across the room, saying something about him being a sell-out. Mike starts clapping and says it was a classy move and another class act leaves the Big Brother house. George, of all people, starts applauding with Mike. Then things get heated. Howie walks back to Mike and gets right in his face, saying Mike liked to his face and calling him a punk. Their faces are probably less than an inch apart when Howie says this, and James steps in to separate them. Mike tells Howie to get to stepping out the door and leaving the house. Howie calls him a punk again and asks what Mike going to do about the fact that he’s not leaving yet. He says he can knock Mike on his ass any day of the week. Mike continues applauding and repeats that another class act is leaving the house. Howie says Mike can kiss his ass and says sarcastically that Chill Town’s word is “as good as gold.” Uh, Howie, you didn’t already know that? That’s your fault, dude. As the door closes, Mike ends by telling Howie to “go get a life.” Now let’s remember something here. At the beginning of this recap, you’ll find a paragraph in which Howie was complaining about the way Marcellas left. I wrote, “It’s not like he threw a tantrum.” Hmmm. So who did throw a tantrum? That would be Howie. Howie leaves the house and joins Julie while, inside the house, people mill about. Julie wants to know what just happened inside with Mike. Howie says he knew Chill Town was going to try that. He has no problem when somebody wins a competition and puts him out, but when somebody makes a promise and lies to him, he takes it personally, whether on Big Brother or in the real world. So what does he think of his former Jedi protégé, George? Howie says he likes George as a person, and he’s trying to do the best he can for his family. But he was basically threatened by Mike and scared into putting up Howie. He says Chill Town’s “word is worthless.” Duh. Even with all the action we’ve seen so far, the show isn’t over yet! We still have an HOH competition. Last week, ghosts visited them. Now it’s the return of the gnomes. Each houseguest is standing behind a painted board with a spot for their heads and empty spaces on either side of them where a head would go into a face hole with a gnome’s body drawn on it. I’m not sure I’m explaining this very well, but, well, you’ll figure it out. As Julie announces the gnomes, a bunch of gnomish-looking people come running and dancing out into the yard. Julie says gnomes are magical creatures who see and know everything, and are very mischievous – you never know if they are telling the truth. Oh, so they’re in Chill Town! Julie is going to read a series of statements made by the gnomes about the BB house this summer. If they think the answer is true, they stick their head in the hole marked True. If not, False. An incorrect answer means elimination. How will they know if they’re out? “Trust me, you’ll know.” Just then, a gnome wheels out a wagon of cream pies. Or they might be slop pies. The gnomes say the total number of times the power of veto has been used this summer is four. True or false? Off the top of my head, that sounds about right. The gnomes hit James, Danielle, and Erika with pies – as of today, it’s five times. Whoops. The gnomes say the total number of frames of BB memorabilia hanging on the walls of the first floor of the house is nine. True or false? Beats me. Will gets a pie in the face – there are 11 frames. Only Janelle and Mike are left. The gnomes say that on move-in day, the third key that Julie picked was Diane’s. True or false? I believe it’s false. So does Mike. But Janelle says true and gets a pie in the face! Mike immediately begins mimicking Howie by screaming out, “Superbowl! Superbowl!” And his showmance, Erika, runs up to give him a big hug – as does Danielle. I guess the Legion of Doom alliance isn’t so secret anymore. Just then, Danielle gives Mike a pie in the face so he can share in the joy the rest of them experienced. Heh. So there we have it – what would normally be a whole week of action condensed into a single episode. Phew. Just like that, Howie is gone and Mike is HOH. Who will he nominate? Will the veto come into play again? Check back on Tuesday, or else check out the live feed recaps listed below, because some of the action has already occurred! As for what happened in this episode, I have a few closing words. Since the beginning of this season, people like me have been saying season six should have gotten rid of Chill Town when they had a chance. Will is far too good a player to allow him to roam the house freely. And to then listen to him and believe him and Mike?! But no, they thought it would be better to go after floaters and keep this “other target” in the house. Now that has come back to haunt them because Chill Town acted like Chill Town, and they’re surprised? To quote Shii Ann from Survivor: “Stupid, stupid people.” http://www.realitynewsonline.com/cgi-bin/ae.pl?mode=4&article=article6369.art&page=1
