Recap, Week 6 (8/13)
THE BOMBSHELL’S BACK Janey Wins HoH, Dani & Erika on Block In a stunning turn of events, the HoH Competition is replayed due to technical glitches, and a new victor emerges: Blonde Bombshell Janelle! Having grabbed power, Janey sets about wreaking vengeance on remaining House Hotties Danielle and Erika, putting both on the block. JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU’RE SAFE... After Kaysar departs, ripples of tension undulate throughout the ALL-STARS house. S-6 are on edge, as one of their members has been evicted. “I think his game-play sucks, but as a person, I think he’s awesome,’ James sighs in a moment of rare emotion. “It’s pretty much do or die at this point,” Janelle admits, feeling vulnerable after the loss of a supporting vote. “King Kaysar took the walk of shame this evening,” Boogie laughs, while Will has a different perspective, offering, “This is just not the show for Kaysar. I mean he’s been evicted three times in the last year!” BIG BROTHER BOMBSHELL There is controversy over the HoH Competition and its results, as the HouseGuests complain loudly about faulty buzzers. Mike says he had problems with his buzzer, but “didn’t wanna make waves.” In the HoH Competition, Howie was eliminated for being too slow with his answer. He continues to complain bitterly, “I was the first or second person to hit that button.” For a few hours, Erika is HoH, and the Legion members and floaters are excited. Janelle and Howie are facing not only the combined ire of the Floaters and Legion of Doom, but also the double agent within their ranks, James. ”I got robbed,” Howie complains in the living room, as his housemates compare similar difficulties with the buzzers. Suddenly, over the PA system, Executive Producer Alison Grodner informs the HouseGuests that there were indeed technical difficulties during the prior HoH Competition, and as a result, the Competition will need to be replayed. “It sent shockwaves through the house,” Boogie admits, “but at the end of the day, we had to swallow that pill and replay the HoH game.” Host Julie Chen welcomes the HouseGuests to “take two” of the HoH Competition. Erika looks distressed at having to play again, but her housemates look pumped and ready. By answering a series of questions regarding the séance the night before, the housemates will again compete for the power. George and Will are first eliminated with wrong answers. Next to go are Marcellas, Howie and Erika. James is out next, leaving Janelle and Boogie to fight for the title. Boogie gives the wrong answer, leaving Janelle as the new HoH. “This is for you, Kaysar,” Janelle screams, as she and Howie jump for joy. No one else is smiling as they scatter after the competition. “I won HoH again!” Janelle smiles. “I bet that a lot of people are upset right now, but I’m here to crush dreams. What can I say?” Having won three HoHs in six weeks in the House, Janey is riding high. Royally unimpressed by Janelle and Howie’s celebrations, Marcellas whines, “The worst thing that could happen, happens.” JANEY, JANEY, JANEY! IT’S ALWAYS JANEY. “I’m so pissed off,” Dani sighs. “Janelle wins everything in this house. I’m tired of her winning all these competitions!” “Did this whole night just happen?” Erika sighs. In the Diary Room, James bows to his former ally. “I am not worthy to be in the presence of Janelle,” he admits. “That is the baddest player of all time. Oh my god, she’s amazing, so I need to get rid of her.” James then meets with his S-6 crew, urging them that Marcellas has to go up. Howie and Janelle argue for nominating Erika and Danielle, as they are more dangerous. James shakes his head, not understanding their reasoning, especially as one of the targets is his secret ally, Danielle. GOOD GOLLY, MISS DOLLY Marcellas discusses the Coup d’Etat, contemplating what the “power” may be. James is also intrigued. When the HouseGuests return inside after the HoH Competition, they discover a sheep in their living room. Danielle wants to call the sheep Dolly after the sheep cloned in Scotland. Danielle figures that the clue must be DNA, meaning Do Not Assume. She runs into the Diary Room and gives her “official answer” to the Coup D’Etat competition. Erika gives the same answer next, with James next offering a different answer. George also delivers a left-field answer. Howie comes up with a completely off-the-wall guess, while Janelle spends more time thinking about it. “It’s pretty ironic that Janelle and Howie have no idea what the expression Pull the Wool over Your Eyes means,” James laughs. “I’ve made a nice blanket for them.” SPLISH, SPLASH, TAKING A BATH Will takes the initiative as he tries to avoid the cold showers for one day. As the only hot water left in the house is in the kitchen for washing dishes, Will decides to make the most of it. “It’s kind of like a bidet,” he points out. When Will asks if Janelle wants him to spray her, she smiles that she wouldn’t mind. Will takes her at her word and sets about spraying her liberally with the water. “I’m gonna kill you!” she laughs as she grabs the hose and sprays him. “The water pipe broke,” Janelle yells out to the backyard, still laughing at their good-natured play. The BIG BROTHER gym is the new meeting point for Legion of Doom strategizing. Boogie and James talk about who will be the next target. Marcellas is the common focus, as Boogie attempts to deflect focus from his potential “showmance,” Erika, and James tries to protect his secret ally, Danielle. BIG BROTHER BAKERY The Food Competition is announced, and Janelle introduces the BIG BROTHER Bakery. She outlines the rules. The HouseGuests have to show that they have learned to cook with the Slop, and are ordered to create seven different Slop dishes in under an hour. The dishes will be judged by a panel of special guests for taste, creativity and originality. “Once the Competition started, we all came together as a team,” Boogie grins, as the housemates create Slop cakes, waffles, a Mexican dish, a crumble and a slop apple crisp, among others. At the end of the hour, they have seven dishes, one for each day of the week. The judges are introduced: former HouseGuests Jun, Marvin and Nicole. Marvin is impressed with the Slop crisp, going back for seconds. Slop-Fredo is next, which the judges also like. Slop cakes come next, impressing them once again. Will’s offering of Slop cupcakes doesn’t impress anyone, whereas the slow-cooked roasted Slop impresses for Friday. The Mexican dish for Saturday passes, as does the Slop waffle for Sunday. The housemates end up with food for every day except Wednesday. GOT MY EYE ON YOU Janelle mulls over her nominations, as do her housemates. “The four people who are on my radar are George, Erika, Danielle and Marcellas, she remarks. Will advises Janelle that she should get rid of Marcellas, because he is the “cancer of the house.” But Janelle won’t be swayed, insisting that Danielle is the leader of the floaters and must go first. “As long as Danielle leaves, (James) is completely in our alliance,” she reassures Will, assuming James is still in the S-6 gang. Will tries to keep the focus on evicting Marcellas and not Danielle, admitting privately, “It behooves me to keep (Danielle) here.” Janelle is not easily swayed by Will’s argument. Looking for entertainment, the HouseGuests make a rock video in the backyard, with Janey in heels as the “80s hot girl” standing under a fall of water. Will, Boogie, Howie and Janelle play it up for their crowd. “You know what’s scary about this? They’re sober,” Danielle sighs, a worried look on her face. James pays Janelle a visit, reminding her that three people need to go. He says he would love to see her put up Marcellas, but Janelle is focusing on Danielle. James replies that she can put up whoever she wants, but if she’s going to make a deal, “it needs to be someone (they) can trust,” which he feels is not George. Howie joins them with bagels as James tries again to dissuade Janelle from targeting Danielle. Janelle won’t budge: “The bitch needs to leave.” LAST GIRL STANDING Erika thinks that Janelle will target her as “any female competition could be perceived as a threat to her.” Marcellas is at his bitchy best as he whines, “(Janelle’s) been a complete bitch from start to finish.” George knows his pals are going to take a major hit today, and Danielle expects the same: “If she nominates me, she nominates me.” Janelle convenes the Nomination Ceremony. Janey gives a little speech about her reasons behind her choices, smiling at Danielle, ”If you’re going to declare war on someone, you’d better finish the battle.” The first key drawn reads James. Howie’s key is second, then Marcellas, George, Will and Boogie. Danielle and Erika are left on the Block. A tight smile on her face, Erika admits, “I think she’ll be shocked to find out that I’m just a simple girl from a small town called Chill.” Danielle is fired up and ready for a fight. “Let’s rumble, girl!” she cheers privately. “I can’t wait.” Janelle has shaken the house with her HoH victory and is striking at the floaters once again. Will Danielle or Erika win the PoV, or will the mighty Janelle dominate in yet another game and send one of them packing? Don’t miss the next thrilling episode as the fight gets personal on BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS, Tuesday, August 15, 8pm ET/PT, only on CBS. http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother7/show/wk06/sun01.shtml
