"No Fits, No Fights, No Feuds" (1/07/07) The show starts with Mary Alice telling us a little more about Alma. How she tricked Orsen into marrying her by getting pregnant, she thought as the family grew, his love for her would grow too, but then she lost the baby. She realized she was married to a man who seemed to despise her, she found lipstick on his shirt collar and thought the only way he would appreciate her was if she left right away. (Then we were brought to the scene of her leaving when Orsen walked in, etc...)
She told him she was going to a motel for the night because she knew he was having an affair. He didn't care and said for the first time in his life he was in love. Alma realized that wasn't enough and that he had to be punished which is why she tried to set him up.
Then we see Alma knock at Bree's door and introduce herself as Alma Hodge, Bree passes out.
Later they are talking and Alma tells her that she went to Canada (Winnipeg) because she was really hurt by Orsen's infidelity and wanted him to suffer a little. She says she was back to make amends. Just then, Orsen walked in and was shocked.
They spoke a little more and Alma said she was glad everything was cleared up now and as she was leaving Bree saw Susan and asked Alma if she'd be free to go over for dinner Saturday, said she had friends she was dying for her to meet.
Gabby
Gabby was having a picnic with Bill and Carlos called. He was watching them, Gabby asked what he was doing at Mike's and he told her he lived there for a while now. She hung up on him and he called back but she let him go quickly again.
They went to her porch and kissed goodnight and there were flowers waiting for her. She thought they were from Bill but they weren't so she told him to wait, went across the street to see Carlos and threw him the flowers thinking he sent them to ruin her relationship with Bill.
The next day Gabby was loading boxes in Bill's car, it was stuff she was giving him for them to take to the shelter. She asked if he could stop at the flower shop on the way. She went in and asked the florist who delivered flowers to Mrs. Solis but the flourist said it was anonymous. Gabby really wanted to know and so she locked the florist in the fridge (when she went to take flowers there) and checked the receipts. Bill was waiting in the car, thought it was taking a while so he went inside to see the florist in the fridge and Gabby going through receipts. She said she wanted to know if the flowers were from Carlos, said she needed to know the truth. He said "That you're still obsessed with your ex husband?". She said "I'm done, let's go" and he said "I think I'm done too". She tells hims he guesses she wasn't ready to date and she leaves. He lets the florist out of the fridge and she tells him she is...lol.
Later she went to see Carlos to say he won, that she and Bill were over. He still denies sending her the flowers. He said he knows her favorite flowers are pink roses, white orchids, sunflowers for her to cheer up or blue irises for the flu. It was sweet. She tells him he is a tough act to follow and he said "Back at ya babe".
Lynette
Lynette was preparing her boys to welcome Kayla and telling them to be nice to her. Kayla arrives with Tom and the boys pat her on the head to say "Hi" and each gave her a toy/gift. Lynette gave her a doll her grandmother had given her, wanting Kayla to feel special. Going up the stairs to her room, she was knocking the doll against the railing.
Lynette made Kayla's favorite meal, tacos, and kayla wanted to watch TV. Lynette said she couldn't while eating but Kayla said her favorite show was on and her mother would let her so Lynette gave in. The boys got upset, they wanted to eat in front of the tV too but Lynette said Kayla was special.
Later, Lynette found the doll she gave Kayla all butchered up and in the trash. Tom told her she could take a firm hand with Kayla when needed.
Lynette and Kayla and the boys went for ice cream and they had to leave. Kayla was taking her time eating it. Lynette said they had to go and Kayla said they'll go when she was done. Lynette breathed a little and then tried to grab Kayla to bring her and Kayla started yelling like a freak and saying "You're not my mother". Lynette went to the car where the boys were waiting and asked if they wanted to eat dinner in front of the TV all week. Soon after we see the three of them standing near Kayla and dragging her out while she was yelling at the top of her lungs. It just didn't look as bad because they were all kids.
When Kayla was in bed Tom had a talk with her and said Lynette loved her, but Kayla blamed Lynette for Nora's death. Tom explained it wasn't Lynette's fault and asked that Kayla give her a chance. She agreed but said she will never love her and Tom can't make her and Lynette was standing by the door and heard that.
Susan
Susan, Lynette and Gabby were all having coffee and Susan told them she went through Orsen's things and that he had been in a mental institution at the age of 17.
Later at home Susan asked Julie to borrow lipstick, said she was going to see Mike to tell him about the new lawyer. She went to the prison and tells him about the lawyer and he is really thrilled and thankful. He tells Susan that she is the only one standing by him and that she was a good friend. Susan tells him Ian doesn't want her to see him anymore because he is her ex and Mike said he can't blame him.
Later Susan called the detective to say she knows Orsen knows Monique, said he had an affair with her. Bree called on the other line, it was to invite Susan to dinner. She apologized and Susan thought it was nice of her but quickly let her go.
Back in jail Mike and the other inmates were having dinner. A guy was asking Mike what he was in there for and he said he presumably killed a woman but that he couldn't remember because of an accident, the last two years were a blur. One of the inmates doesn't really believe him and then we see Paul Young turn around and say "I believe you".
Julie/Austin/Danielle
Julie and Austin were kissing but then she stopped him and said she didn't feel ready to go further just yet. He told her that was fine and he would wait until she was ready. Julie was at Danielle's telling her about it saying how he was a gentleman. Andrew was laughing and saying she was a virgin and she thought like one, too. He told her that Austin is a guy and no guy is going to wait to have sex. If she doesn't give it to him he will get it elsewhere and he said guys need sex. Julie said she was scared of losing him and Danielle told him it was better to lose him than her self respect, she said take it from me "Little Miss Vandetramp".
Later Julie and Austin are together again and Julie tells him she is ready to have sex so they do.
We later see Austin laying in bed and he says "I think we should stop this" and then we see Danielle turn around and ask why.
Back at Bree's for the dinner...
Bree tells Alma not to go into too much detail about everything, just mainly to prove she is there and Orsen didn't kill her. Alma agrees, Bree walks out and Alma gives herself a needle.
Lynette, Tom, Gabby and Susan were all there and Bree introduces them to Alma Hodge. They are all a little shocked she is alive and she explains to them she was in Winnipeg, etc...
The doorbell rings and it was detectives to take Orsen away. They tell him they know he knows the Jane Doe he saw and that they were having an affair, Orsen asks how they know and Susan doesn't hide it well and Bree is frustrated. She said "Susan!!!" and Susan said she felt really bad for Mike when she saw his face the other day, then Ian freaks out saying "When did you see Mike?". Susan said she knows Mike is innocent and Bree said 'Like you knew she was dead" and pointed to Alma. Ian got upset and he left and chaos was everywhere. Bree tells Susan when it comes to Mike there isn't anyone she wouldn't betray and then tells Susan their friendship over.
We just see Alma and Tom at the table and Tom turns to her and says "So....Winnipeg? Must be pretty cold up there."
Susan goes to see Ian and was upset at him saying she had to tell Mike about the lawyers and that there was nothing to worry about because she loved Ian etc.. and he stops her and pointed out that she said she loved him. She agreed and he said she had never said that before and then they made up and kissed.
Edie/Alma
We see Edie showing someone a house and then we see it is Alma. Alma says she will take it. Edie asked why she wanted a house on that particular street and Alma said "I've had to move around a lot the last few months, I need a place to settle down, know what I mean? I want to live in a place where children know how to behave (we see Kayla hiding behind a tree), where people still have a sense of moral value (we see Austin watching Danielle walking) and where friends are good and strong and last forever (we see Bree and Susan), that's what I'm looking for."
Edie says "Then I think Wisteria Lane is the place for you".
Alma says " More than anything, I just want to fit in".
Mary Alice "Oh, you will, Alma. You absolutely will."
