"It Takes Two" (10/01/06)
Part 1 Mary Alice starts by saying: Sometimes dark clouds have silver linings Sometimes they don't When it comes to life of Wisteria Lane, things that seem too good to be true Usually turn out to be deadly We then see Susan, Gabby and Lynette giving suggestions to Bree for her wedding about things she may want to change. They were all wearing not so nice green bridesmaid dresses. Susan was telling Gabby and Lynette that they should talk Bree out of marrying a homicidal dentist. She doesn't want her making the biggest mistake of her life. Bree heard and asked "what mistake?" and Susan dumb founded said "the hideous dresses". Mary Alice says "Yes, a bridesmaid can question many of the brides' choices, but the groom isn't one of them" Part 2 We see Gabby and Carlos fighting at the lawyers' over different things they want. She really wants the pearls but Carlos says they are his mother's he should get them. The lawyer reminds them that they will be bound for life because they will have a child any day now. Later..Gabby was stretching and Xiao Mei walked down the stairs. She told Gabby she was bored and Gabby told her to put on a pair of pants, it will take a couple of hours. Carlos shows up and sees Xiao Mei and asks why she is out of bed, it isn't good for her, Gabby said "or the stairs.." Carlos brought Gabby the pearl necklace she wanted and agreed to make amends. Gabby in turn invited Carlos to Bree's wedding reception as her guest. Susan saw them at the reception and asked if they were getting back together, Carlos said yes and Gabby said no. Carlos told her she was sending mixed signals. She went to flirt with the waiter, who told her he was gay and told him to flirt with her, she'd give him a $100 tip. Carlos saw this and went to order a tequila at the bar. Edie Edie was sleeping, heard a noise and grabbed a gun. She saw someone going in window and it was her nephew Austin. He basically said his mom was too busy with her life for him so he went to see her. She offered him to stay with her for a while. Lynette Nora was leaving with her boyfriend Turk for the weekend. He looked very scruffy looking, lots of tattoos and biker style. Tom saw him and didn't want his daughter being around someone like that, but Lynette happy that Nora would be away more, didn't care who she was with. Later Nora was crying on the porch. She told Lynette it was over that Terk was mean to her but Lynette was trying to convince her to stay with him, saying it was just an argument and people argue etc.. Nora didn't buy it and told Lynette she would stay with them for the night. Lynette was in charge of the seating arrangements for the wedding so she put Nora on the list to sit with a bunch of men, trying to find anyone for her. Susan Susan and Ian went out to eat but Ian's in laws were there. They came up to the table and he introduced Susan as "new to Jane's neurology team". They started asking her medical questions about the brain so Susan said her phone was ringing. She answered, said "oh..his brain shut off?" and she apologized and said she had to go. Later she was visiting Mike and Ian walked in with flowers for her apologizing for the date. She told him he must have lied to his parents because he felt guilty and feels like he is cheating on his wife. He agreed that was probably it. Susan said they should just stop it and be friends and he said "I haven't thought about you as just a friend for a long time now" and Susan said "If we can't be friends, we'll be nothing". Julie was back home woking on the computer and heard loud music from outside distracting her. She went out and there was a blasting radio next to a motorcycle, she went to lower it and a topless guy came out. He introduced himself to her, it was Austin, Edie's nephew. She told him the music was too loud she was doing homework. He told her she should take regular breaks. She said "Keep it down, it was really loud" he said "That's how I like it, how do you like it?" and she replied very annoyed "You know what? You're not that hot!" Later Susan saw Orsen cutting off the "just married" on the car. She decided to see Carolyn and ask more questions about Orsen killing his wife. Carolyn told her the police checked his place and he had bleached it all clean, no one else does that unless they want to hide prints and stuff. Part 3: -Back at the morgue, they were examing a body they had found. The body was buried in clay. They mentioned there would be no dental records for the person because the person who killed her pulled out all of her teeth. Before Bree's wedding, Susan, Lynette, Gabby, (and Bree) were together getting ready in their burgandy bridesmaid dresses. Susan was telling the women that Orsen was never charged because they never found a body but that Orsen was the only suspect. Bree didn't want to listen to a thing Susan was saying. They asked her to go confront Orsen about it and Bree said it was bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding. Lynette said "You know what's really bad luck?....marrying a wife killer". They asked her if she honestly had no doubt about it and Bree said "None whatsoever" The wedding begins.. Bree walking down the aisle, Orsen looking a little nervous The priest starts to talk and Bree interrupts, she pulls Orsen aside and asked him if he did kill his wife. He swore to her he didn't do it. They got married. Bree's wedding reception Susan saw Ian and asked what he was doing there, he told her he can't stop thinking about her. Edie walked in to the reception with her nephew and Julie was there. Edie asked if she had met her nephew and Julie said "I didn't recognize him with his shirt on" When Carlos went to get his tequila at the bar he asked the bartender if there were any single women there. Lynette went to introduce him to Nora. They were kissing lots and Gabby saw. She went up to them and freaked out. Nora told Gabby it was Lynette who introduced them. Carlos and Gabby started arguing and Carlos wanted his mama's pearl necklace back and as they were arguing over it it broke and the pearls went everywhere. They both got on their knees and were picking them up when Xiao Mei came down calling for them. They asked her what she want and then her water broke on the dance floor. She said "I think it's time". Tom later tells everyone the amniotic fluid has been cleaned everyone can dance again. Ian gets up and makes a speech to Bree to Orsen (but it directed at Susan). Bree and Orsen have no clue who this guys is. Susan then gets up after his speech and said she has something to say and she says they are older and wiser and need to get into relationships with a bit of caution. She says spontaneous can be selfish and the best thing to do is walk away, then she looks ar Bree and Orsen and says that part wasn't for them. Ian responds and says walking away is the safest thing but when you feel joy you thought you never would, you can't just let her go. The room turns to Susan waiting for a reply and Tom asks if she had something to say and Susan said "no...I'm good". Everyone gets back to dancing and stuff and a detective comes in looking for Bree. He tells her that her husband has to go to the morgue to identify a body. Bree is nervous. They get there and Orsen sees the body and says it isn't her. They bring Carolyn in the room and Orsen freaks out that she is there. They show Carolyn the body and she is shocked that it is not the wife either. She warns Bree to leave him and Bree tells her to leave. Carolyn tells Bree she deserves him and leaves. Bree and Orsen are leaving and Orsen turns back to the body and says " Tu me manque Monique" which means I miss you Monique. Back at the hospital Lynette has a bag and tells Gabby she brought her change of clothes. Gabby still upset with Lynette and asks her why she introduced Carlos to Nora. Lynette tells her she was desperate and says how unhappy she is and she feels like all this will affect her and Tom. She can't take it much longer. Gabby tells them they will get through this because some marriages were built to last and some aren't. It's time for Xiao Mei to push and Gabby and Carlos are in there together holding hands so excited that their baby will be born. Xiao Mei is pushing. The doctor says the head is out and Gabby tells Carlos to get the camera. As he is taping, the baby comes out and the baby is black. Everyone is in shock. The doctor later apologizes to Gabby and Carlos telling them the embryo was accidentally switched and that their embryo didn't take. They were real upset. Carlos drives Gabby home and they say that the divorce would be simpler because there was no baby. They both look so sad (and in love). They end with "see you at the mediator" Mary Alice ends with Have you ever met the perfect couple? The two soulmates whose love never dies -Gabby was walking in the house and turned back and she and carlos were just looking at each other. She went in and he drove off.
