It's Friday and Mary Alice was telling it it was an ordinary day for Carolyn. She had planned to do all sorts of things she thought mattered, until a woman she wasn't close with told her something, then nothing mattered anymore from that moment. We see her in the grocery store and she confronts Harvey. She tells him he should be with Monique and he tells her she is dead, she knows and fires a gun shot... Mary Alice says it started as an ordinary day but as every housewife knows.... -Carolyn tells everyone in the store "nobody move" ...plans change Lynette The Night Before... Mary Alice tells us Lynette had a dream, one she's had many times before. It was about the last time Mary Alice and Lynette spoke and Lynette wouldn't know that moments after they spoke Mary Alice put a bullet to her head. Friday Morning: Lynette tells Gabby and Susan about her dream. They say maybe it's because the new neighbor moved in to Mary Alice's place. We see him moving boxes in and they want to say "Hi" but when Lynette asks the women "Do you think he knows Mary Alice shot herself in the living room?", Susan decides they should give him time to unpack. Tom was watering outside and Nora pulls up. Lynette upset but Nora says it is quick, she and Kayla are moving and gives Tom the address where he can reach them. It's Mexico. Later Tom was on the internet looking for fares to Mexico and Lynette said he can't go (well..unless there's way to leave his genitals behind ) and she suggests they sue for custody. Tom surprised but happy about that idea. Lynnette leaves to go to the store.... Gabby Gabby and Carlos are with the lawyers again, Gabby gets the house but Carlos gets everything inside, because they told the judge Gabby and Carlos slept together, Gabby tried to deny it but Carlos has it all on audio tape...lol. He tells the judge "when she climaxes she actully starts screaming dollar amounts". Back at home, Carlos is reading the paper and Gabby is upset. He tells her it's quite fair as he has paid for almost everything in the house. She walks away and we hear her breaking vases, glasses etc... She tells Carlos she's helping him pack. He gets upset , walks out and we hear banging. Gabby goes to check and he is making holes in the walls. He tells her he is helping her remodel the house. Bree Bree wants Orsen's thoughts on the police report his ex wife had files against him. He tells her it was self defense that his ex started attacking him first. He asks Bree how she knew and she tells him Carolyn told her. he said "Had she paid this must attention on her marriage, her husband wouldn't have cheated on her". Bree was surprised by this. Bree is walking and Carolyn was driving by. Carolyn asks about her wife beater husband and Bree tells her she should worry about her own marriage. When Carolyn asks what she means Bree tells her "Does the name Monique mean anything to you?" Afterwards Carolyn calls Harvey on his cell. She tells him she knows about Monique, he says she was just a friend, she disappeared 8 months ago and the police found her body. Carolyn puts 2 and 2 together and realizes it was 8 months ago he was so upset and she didn't know why. He tells her she is dead, not to worry and Carolyn is still freaking out asking "Yeah but if she wasn't dead, would you be with me or her?" and then he has to go work so he tells her he has to go... She grabs a gun from a drawer... Susan Susan finds a beer can in the trash and asks Julie about it, she says it is Austin's. Susan upset. Julie runs into Austin at the grocery store, he slips a bottle of alcohol in her back pack and when she goes to pay for her stuff, the bottle falls out. They get taken aside for shoplifting. Ian is at Susan's and Susan was packing to go away with him to Paris. The phone rings, it's the store saying they have Julie for shoplifting so she has to leave. She sees Julie in the store and Edie is there too because Edie got the call about Austin being with Julie for shoplifting. Susan tells them she'll be back, she had someone waiting in the car and tells Julie she is really disappointed in her. Action Susan goes out to the car, Carolyn was walking in. Edie was talking to Harvey and Nora bumps into Lynette. They start to argue about Lynette wanting to steal Kayla etc.., Carolyn sees Harvey. We hear gun shots. Harvey runs into an office with Edie. Carolyn tells everyone to stay down and she has the gun pointed in Julie and Austin (and a few other shoppers) direction. Meanwhile Susan is out in the car telling Iam to go to Paris alone, she doesn't want to leave Julie. Back in the shopping center Nora and Lynette are together and a guy tells them I think we can make it and tries to run out but he gets shot in the back. Carolyn tells the shoppers her husband cheated on her. Edie and Harvey can see her on the cameras and Edie tells Harvey he should go out. Lynette takes her cell phone and calls home, Parker answers and doesn't pass the phone to his Dad right away as he is telling Lynette about arguing with his brothers. Carolyn puts the gun next to her head says she is having a bad day "Is a little cooperation too much to ask?" and takes Lynettes phone. Outside Ian drives off and Susan sees people running, they tell her there is a crazy woman with a gun inside. She tries to get in and Carolyn locks the door and tells her the store is closed. Susan says "There is a crazy woman in there" Carolyn shows her the gun and says "I know". Julie looks at Austin and tells him he looks so calm. He says he isn't going to die today and "Neither are you" and he brings her close to him. Outside Susan tells the cop her daughter is inside but he tells her to step back. She grabs the megaphone and tries to bargain with Carolyn telling her she'll take Julie's place instead, the cops pull Susan away. Meanwhile Mrs. mcClusky goes to tell Gabby and Carlos what is going on and says they are watching it over at Bree's. The hostage taking is on TV at Bree's but she's serving food to all the neighborhood watching it from her place. They announce that the hostage taker is Carolyn. As that is ahppening the phone rings and Andrew answers. He tells Bree it was Edie and that she, Julie and Lynette are all at the store. Tom then walks in the house and asks Bree if she could watch the kids while he goes to get Lynette because she is taking all her time at the store. He sees all the people asks if they are having a party and leaves. Bree goes in the kitchen in shock and Orsen tells her not to blame herself. (she tells Orsen earlier that she saw Carolyn just a while before all that) Carolyn still holding the shoppers hosatge is telling them she wanted kids, as she eats cookies and drinks wine. Harvey on a megaphone apologizes to her, Edie in the background says "Tell her to let the kids go" and Carolyn freaks out about the other woman in the office with him. Carolyn says "I hope you're having a good time in there whore, cuz I got a bullet for you too" Back at Bree's Gabby is telling Carlos that she can somewhat understand Carolyn and she doesn't know what she would have been capable of either. She tells him the divorce turned them both into bitter/hateful people. He suggests they change that and they agree and she lays her head in his chest. Tom arrives at the store and sees what's going on. He tries to console Susan acting like he is sure Lynette will be just fine but he is feeling really guilty, because they were going to go shopping tomorrow but he wanted hamburgers today and because of that Lynette had to go to the store. Inside Nora starts talking to Lynette, still blaming her for trying to take Kayla and Lynette tells her to shut up (as Carolyn told them earlier). carolyn sees them and gets upset, Nora tells Carolyn that Lynette is trying to steal her kid and Lynette says that Nora tried to seduce her husband. Susan crying saying the last thing she told Julie was that she disappointed her. At Bree's they announce on the news a female hosage was shot, Lynettes kids then ask Bree "when is mommy going to be back from the store?" At the store Lynette and the new neighbor (from Mary Alice's house) are trying to help Nora and stop the blood. Nora starts telling Lynette "About Kayla..", Lynette says "Tell me later" and Nora says "I don't have later you stupid bitch. Kayla was the only good thing I ever did. I need you to take really good care of her, O.K?" Lynette "Yes, I will, I will love her like she is my own". Lynette is in tears and Nora dies. Carolyn tells Lynette "You know you wanted her dead' Lynette gets real upset and starts yelling that she did not want her dead. Lynette yelling thet Carolyn is crazy just shooting starngers and Carolyn said "She deserved it" when Lynette replies "Maybe you deserved to be cheated on" Carolyn had a look to kill when the new neighbor threw something that hit Carolyn in the head, the gun went off, shot Lynette, Carolyn fell, the gun slipped away from her. Austin jumps on Carolyn to hold her down, a shopper grabs the gun and shoots Carolyn in the head. The doors open and people are walking out. Susan sees Julie and they hug. On the tv at Bree's they are showing this and we see Edie and Austin walking out, Julie hugs Austin, we see Tom's face and then paremedics taking Lynette out on a stretcher. Bree watching and she starts to cry. Mary Alice Lynette Scavo had a dream that night...it was one she'd had many times before. Lynette:Hey Mary Alice, are you o.k.? M.A.: yes, thank you Lynette:o.k. I'll see you later Mary Alice but this night something changed Lynette: no you're not, I can tell. Please tell me what's wrong, I can save you. M.A.: you can't Lynette: why not?
