"A Weekend in The Country" (10/08/06)
We see Bree having a great time with Orsen. They have a first class plane ticket, will be staying in a 5 star hotel with a pool and making love. Orsen had intentions on the perfect honeymoon lasting forever. There was 15 mins until their flight and he wanted a latte. Bree waited and was watching the news. They did a report on homeless children and interviewed Andrew. He explained how he ate out of dumpsters and had told the reporter he had an alcoholic mom and his Dad was murdered by her boyfriend. Bree was in shock. When Orsen came back she told him they had to go. He said she could call from the resort to get more info about him, she refused. She warned him that he wouldn't want her to choose between him or Andrew because Orsen would lose. Mary Alice Mary Alice said "Orsen realized the honeymoon was over, in more ways than one" Mary Alice then told us how it was holiday weekend on Wisteria Lane. -Lynette was getting away from the growing tension in her marriage -Gabby getting away from her increasingly bitter divorce -Susan from her mounting guilt -and Bree realizing there are some problems you can't run away from. Bree Bree tells Orsen she kicked Andrew out of the house (he thought Andrew ran away). They swear there won't be any more secrets between them. Bree goes out looking for Andrew. Someone suggested a soup kitchen so she went and he was trying to hide when he saw her, but she saw him. he had a black eye. He asked about her new hubby and he told her he found out from the papers he has to sleep on at night. She told him to go home and he told her No. He walked away and she went after him and once he got out, he ran away from her and she was calling him back "Andrew!!!!!..." Later she was home planting flowers. Orsen told her she was too hard on herself and she told him he wasn't hard enough on her. He went in and she started to cry. He watched her from the window. Orsen went to see Andrew on the streets. (Andrew had no idea who he was). Orsen gave him money and told Andrew he'd give him 50$ more if they had lunch together. Andrew asked if he was a reporter or pastor? Orsen told him he wants to understand him. That's when Abdrew figured out he was Bree's husband. So Andrew was referring to him as "Dad" very sarcastically. Orsen asked Andrew when he will have punished Bree enough? When he turms to drugs or gets a disease? Andrew got up to leave and Orsen told him "If you change your mind, you know where to find us" Gabby and Lynette Gabby and Lynette were on a resort getting a massage. Gabby's cell rang and Lynette didn't want her to answer, but she did. It was Tom and he wanted to talk with Lynette. He was at a camp ground with the kids and his back went out again and he needed Lynette to go help him. She wasn't going to until she heard Tom yell "Parker, put down the damn axe". She grabbed a cab and went home to find Nora sitting on the front porch. Kayla had called her and she wanted to go with Lynette to help out, her car had been inpounded. Lynette was not pleased but they left together. In the car, Lynette was so stressed and Nora was making a mess spilling everything in the car. Nora was then fooling around and turned the steering wheel which almost caused an accident and Lynette said "if you want to kill yourself, fine, but without me". Nora got really insulted that Lynette wouldn't care if she killed herself so she asked to pull over. She decided to hitch a ride with a truck and Lynette let her. Lynette was blasting her music when she spotted Nora on a rock up ahaead. She picked her up and Nora said the truck driver grabbed her boob, so she hit him and left. Nora was telling Lynette she had it all, kids, career, husband etc.., Lynette told her she works 12 hours, gets home to what feels like 33 children and has a husband that doesn't work. Nora told Lynette that Tom hated advertising. Lynette was shocked and asked why Tom never told her and Nora said "Because you're the type of woman when someone says they want to kill themself, you'll say go ahead". Lynette picked Tom up and was telling him that if he didn't find something in advertising he could look for something he's always wanted to do. (he said he'd like to play bass for Aerosmith..lol) Lynette was telling him to go after his dreams and he told her he really lucked out marrying her. Back at the spa, Gabby was spending her last night there alone. Then she started getting thoughts of her divorce and emoty house etc.. She was resenting all the couples she was seeing. She went for a walk and who does she meet? JOHN!! he says "small world"..they walk and talk and she tells him she is getting divorced. he tells her it was great to see her and to enjoy her stay. She said "I intend to" and she grabbed him and kissed him. They're lying in bed, ready to order champagne and his phone rings. He tells Gabby she has to leave because it is his fiance Tammy. She doesn't want to leave and wants to meet her and he tells her she can't, she is Tammy Sinclair, her dad owns the Sinclair hotels etc... Tammy is at the door and walks in the room, John is nervous. She sees a suitcase, he said zipper was broke he would bring it down to fix. He brings the suitcase to the elevator and Tammy comes out with a diamond watch. He tells her it was for her and gives it to her. Places the suitcase in the leevator and the door closed. We hear Gabby calling "John" from the suitcase...lol...a couple walks in the levator and as they're going up gabby is calling for "John" and she gets out of the suitcase Later Gabby is at a table and John went to see her to apologize. She asks him to sit with her. She tells him he is hard to stay mad at and he says he is happy because he didn't want it to end badly. She says it doesn't have to end, that she slept with him while she was married. He told her he doesn't want to be married like that, he loves Tammy and doesn't want to lose her. She tells him enough screw ups and you end up alone. He kissed her on the cheek and said "Bye Gabrielle". Susan Susan and Ian are in his home. (a country place or something like that). Susan brings her luggage to "her" room only to find a bunch of condoms in it. Meanwhile he is opening "his" luggage and sees Susan's lingerie. They give eachother back their luggages and are both a little embarrassed about it. Later they were by the fireplace and he tells her that Jane is the only woman he has ever been with. He asks her how many people she has been with, she says 9, gets defensive and then admits it was really 11. She gets upset at his questions, thinking he is judging her and says she will go up to bed, alone, something she hasn't tried in a long time Susan was lying in bed and Ian went to apologize, they kiss but Susan stops it, tells him she isn't ready for a lifetime commitment. He tells her is capable of having meaningless sex too and again Susan gets insulted. Julie/Edie Julie was working on a science project and then blew a fuse.She went to Edie's and Austin answered in his boxers. She told him what happened and said he could help. He told her houses built after 1990 it would be the breaker and not a fuse. He said he'd grab a flashlight and she said to grab a shirt and pants too. He called her into the area of the room where the breakers room to show her what to do. Edie walked in and asked for Susan. Said she wanted her CD player. Julie told it the CD player was at the hospital with Mike. Edie asked Austin to go home and make a drink. When he left, she told Julie to stay away from her nephew. Edie went to the hospital to get her CD player. She was about to leave and then looked under Mike's sheets and said "Damn, that's you with a coma" and then she looked shocked.
