Question about last team to arrive (non-elimination)
When they take a team's possessions because they came in last in a non-elimination round, do they lose their stuff for the rest of the race or do they get it back at the next pit stop? I was just curious because say they need to go somewhere cold and they got their coat taken from them. Would they have to buy a new one? I haven't noticed any teams lacking a bathing suit if they have to do a challenge in the water or being without a coat in the snow so I'm assuming they get their possessions back if they make it to the next pit stop.

They don't get their stuff back. I remember Meredith asked that in season 7 when they almost got eliminated, and Phil said they had to get all the resources they needed to get through the race. However, if they go somewhere cold I think they provide them with clothes because in season 1 when they went to Alaska they all had the same coats, hats, etc. In season 7, Uchenna and Joyce got everything taken away, but after that Uchenna had to dive into water, and he just went in his underwear lol, so I don't think they provide bathing suits, etc.
