The last we saw Claire's dad had the videotape and she didn't know that so that's probably what she's shocked about. I think things are going to change between Claire and her dad when she realizes how many of her secrets he knows. He already got her to reveal what happened with Brody and if he tells her he has the tape, she may have to tell him about her abilities.

Yes, he seems pretty bad. Kidnapping Matt to do experiments on him and then wiping out his memory, trying to kidnap Nathan (I assume he had something to do with blackmailing him, too), wiping out Brody's memory at the hospital. He sure isn't acting like a good guy. Hmm, I wonder who this Mr. Linderman is that Niki and Nathan have mentioned. Could Claire's dad be him??? On second thought, I guess that couldn't be. Claire's last name is Bennet and even though she's adopted (or a foster child, something like that) I assume she would have taken that family's surname.
