Premieres May 30th, 9 pm on Fox HELL’S KITCHEN is a culinary boot camp that features a group of wannabe Cordon Bleu cooks and aspiring restaurateurs running a top-class restaurant, overseen by world-renowned but terrifying Head Chef GORDON RAMSAY. Ramsay and HELL’S KITCHEN will serve helpings of terror, tears, tantrums and triumphs in this dramatic unscripted series.
Ramsay, a former pro soccer player-turned-Michelin-starred-chef, will cross the Pond to the United States’ hotbed of haute cuisine, Los Angeles, to open the city's newest restaurant, staff it with would-be head chefs, and turn it into the city's top hot spot.
Adapted from the wildly successful British short-run series of the same name, HELL’S KITCHEN will follow the competing chefs 24/7, capturing the drama, intrigue and high emotion as the restaurant’s opening night approaches. These ambitious hopefuls believe they have the drive, talent and desire to run their own restaurant, and they will be tossed into the cauldron, working under Ramsay and fighting for survival.
The participants may have varying culinary experience, whether as a burger flipper, a mother of six or a barbecue wiz, but one thing they will all have in common is a passion for food. Each week Ramsay will slice and dice the contestants, keeping those who possess the right combination of ingredients to ensure success.
The contestants will believe they have what it takes to work in the adrenalin-fueled atmosphere of a busy kitchen ... but they haven't worked for the perfectionist Ramsay before. A man they may fear and respect in equal measure, he will be assessing their performance and driving them to achieve the best. For him, failure is not an option, and nothing and no one will stand in his way. So for the trainees, this means one thing – if they can’t stand the heat they need to get out of HELL’S KITCHEN.

I just recently started seeing promos for this. It looks pretty innerestin. I will check it out when it airs.
I keep looking for that PH replacement, you know, the contentious, obnoxious, unbelievably immature behavior. This might fit the bill nicely!
Hey maybe Toni will show up
"You call that a souffle? Oh, it's aaaaawwwwwnnnnnn!"

Noooo....not Toni. Ever Again!
I am looking forward to a new reality show. I can't wait, the previews look pretty good.

Re: Hell's Kitchen This looks interesting, I may give it a shot. A cooking reality tv show hasn't been done yet (that I know of), so it could work.
Stupid title, though.

I just saw a promo for this. I'll check it out. All my regular reality shows are wrapping up anyway. I like The Iron Chef.

Re: Jennifer's Viewing Habbits At Work My wife talks non-stop about The Iron Chef and Good Eats. I swear all she ever does at work is nap and watch the food network.

I love the Iron Chef! The Japanese one, not Iron Chef America.
Brinna- 05-22-2005
I've only seen one episode of the American version of Iron Chef but I love the original. It usually seems rigged though because most of the time I think that the competitor's dishes would probably taste better. Still it's fun to see what they can come up with in such a short amount of time.

Hey! Watch it, I watch the Food Network at work sometimes, I love Good Eats. Alton Brown is fun...and I've actually learned some little things from him. Like how to poach an egg unlike those sorry twits on Wickedly Perfect

I saw the promo for this and that man is a manic! One of the contestants called him "The Simon Cowell of cooking." He looks worse! This guy slams a plate of food on someone! Apparently he's allowed to assult the contestants!
PinkCat- 05-25-2005
I like to cook and I love to eat so this will be fun for me! Bring it on!

Re: Hell's Kitchen Hopefully FOX won't cancel this show before the end of the season.
Yes, I'm still bitter about the cancellation of Forever Eden. Ugh.
