Pontiac Solstice
Personally, I don't see what the big fuss over the car is all about. Sure, it's nice looking and everything. But I've seen better. Maybe sports cars just aren't my cup of tea. Oh well.

It looked okay, but not all that. Besides, from the sounds of it, the Solstice will be a car out of my price range so even if I absolutely loved it, I wouldn't be buying one.

Re: Pontiac Solstice
The Solstice isn't all that expensive, Brinna. It's around $20,000. From the way the car was portrayed on the show, I thought it would be a whole lot more.

I can't remember now exactly what was said but someone made a comment that led me to think this was going to have a high-end price.

Its not really my type of car. $20,000 is relatively cheap for a sports car/convertible isnt it?

I will be honest here.... that thing is sweet. Really sweet. But it's no Beemer. And its a Pontiac. Pontiac hasnt had a winner since the Trans Am. This isnt their winner now either. Its Pontiacs version of the Chrysler Crossfire which was Chryslers knock-off of BMW's Z3. That thing is old news. Next!

I wonder what kind of gas milage the thing gets.

I voted "I don't care for it." Based on it's price, it's probably cheesily made. And sports cars are too small for me now. I'm into 5-door SUV's with lots of storage.

Looked great to me. I would probably never buy one--or any car like it--but it would be fun to rent for a weekend or something.
