To me, Badge Addicts has the same problem that the FORT has--it's just too big. I can't possibly read all the responses to all the threads and it's a bear to navigate around the forums.

That's funny, Pika, because I was thinking that same thing. I will check it out periodically to make sure we keep on top of any more SECRET badges and I'll use the site if I want any info about a game, but won't be jumping in as a major regular, like you said, too much to follow and I just don't have time for all the board stuff.

Warning!!!! I was just playing the Omaha poker challenge for this week ..... I got the O M A H and was just about to win the final hand for a jackpot spin when the room froze and I got booted. And other players were saying they were having problems as well. So keep that in mind before wasting too much time!! The Squelchies challenge is easy even though you have to play it on the hard level.

Thanks for the warning, Rufus. I'll probably start on Squelchies or a personal challenge until the boom is over in poker and then do that challenge. Sheesh, I did a personal challenge in Word Whomp Whackdown last week (the Carrot Torpedo Badge) and I just finished that sucker last night. I got 4 of the 5 jackpot spins in Squelchies while I was home at lunch. I more to go and I can cross that badge off my list. I don't know what to do for a personal challenge.

I'm doing that Bayou firefly thing for a personal. Won't take long and I'm doing like you, Pika, and trying to finish off old albums. I got 3 or 4 of the squelchies one but then it started bumping me from the room repeatedly so I moved on.

I just got e-mail notification of two pm's over there. They apparently don't let you access your actual pm box until you've reached a set amount of posts, which I obviously haven't reached yet. lol I said it there and I'll say it agin: I have no problem running around posting smilies in thread after thread til I'm up there in post count*shrugs & giggles*

I got a pm the first day I was there so I feel special now. :lol: Both those pm's are from me, Tif. The first time I wrote in your name and it didn't appear to go through so I sent another one by clicking on your name. I hate restrictions like that. I also noticed on the first day I couldn't click on a member's name to view their profile or see other posts by them. :evil: True, we have a few member-restricted rooms on this site but all people have to do is ask to join and they'll be let in. It's mostly to keep the trolls out.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! I won the Dice Derby personal challenge badge where you have to win three games in a row and didn't even have to use any of the tips I got!! I was going to quit if it looked like I would lose but I got on a roll and won all three games without having to do so!!! Woo hoo!!!!! I'm so glad to cross that friggin' badge out of my book!!!

Me, too. It said I timed out but it never got around to me. It was stalled on the player before me and they said they got booted from the table, too, although they didn't stand up. I'm not going to try anymore tonight. It would be a waste of time.
