that's one thing that bugs me about Pogo.. that's a cute lil picture your showing Pika..but that's not the badge.. this circled part is: I mean they couldn't make it cuter? Well I'm off to pop some balloons. lol

I think the big picture is the badge. The small picture is just an icon that shows up in the game rooms. They really do a sucky job with the small pictures. Hardly any of them are very interesting to look at.

... in chat rooms you can show"badges" or hide them.. the little thing is what I have always consider the badge, as you wear it in chat. *shrugs*

Anyone else notice they are not listing next week's challenges yet. Innit odd?

No, not too odd. Sometimes they don't show them right away or they'll list something early in the week and then change it. I remember once dreading that one of the next week's challenges was going to be Spades but they changed it to Aces Up. I was ok with that! :razz: BTW, I got the Poppit badge and started working on my personal challenge, Jungle Gin. I saw you were online last night, Tif, but I wasn't sure if it was really you or one of your kids playing. I haven't even started the Backgammon challenge and I'm not looking forward to it. 20 games to win is a lot, considering how slow that game goes. If anyone has any shortcuts to getting the badge (psst...CUBONE) please tell us!! :wink:

Yep I was there for a lil bit, working on my personal challenge (I wanted the Cleopatra Badge from 2004 so Phlinx it was!) I signed my middle guy up with his own account so he can have his own mini and tokens, so mostly if you see me there it is prolly me! I only need the backgammon badge now too, so if you see me there goofin in another game room, come collect me and we'll play!

Cool! Maybe tonight we can both work on the Backgammon challenge. :razz:

:cry: Sorry I couldn't do the backgammon with you last night Pika, I saw you in Jungle Gin and tried to come chat with you but I couldn't figure out how to get you to whisper the pw to me! I have pc issues at home and I have decided to wipe everything off the puter and start from scratch to try and get rid of whatever has infected it for over a year now, so most of last night was spent trying to offload as many piccies and documents as I could. So far I have 5 disc's loaded and I think it will prolly take another 5 disc's at least to get every thing I want to save off of the machine. I shoulda bought one of those smart drives that you can hook up with a usb cable and pull stuff off that way, but I didn't think it would take more then 4 or 5 disc's and maybe an hour's time, boy was I way off base! When I searched for just jpg files and found almost 7000!!!! :shock:

No problem, Tif. I was in a private room playing against the computer for my Jungle Gin badge. By the time I saw you were online, I was just getting ready to shut down my computer for the evening.

I am getting highly irked at that stupid backgammon challenge, I am actually pretty good at the game, but I musta lost at least 6 rounds of it so far today. The dice seem to favor whomever is playing against me, every single time. I am no sore loser, but I am starting to get very frustrated! :evil: Think I'll take a break and play solitaire for a tad!

I set up a private table to play backgammon in today, iffin n e 1 wants to join me the pw is: cats. Imma do some laundry while I'm waiting for a partner, so if I dont respond right away, that'd be where I am! :lol:

I'm so happy that they're having a personal challenge marathon this week! I already have the two weekly challenges done and one of my personal challenges finished. Buckaroo Blackjack was the easiest challenge ever. Only took about 30 minutes to finish. :grin:

I thought it was just my computer. I was playing Spooky Slots and just won the badge but I didn't get the popup window showing the badge. All of a sudden I kept getting error message windows. I tried restarting my computer but when that didn't work, I gave up and got offline to play Heroes of Might & Magic. I was just about to try Pogo again. I hope they get it fixed soon. I can't be without Pogo for too long! :cry:
