Is Majong Garden easy? I don't think I have attempted to play...
pika- 08-09-2005
Yes, Mahjong Garden is really easy. Some of the games are so simple, you can finish them in two minutes or less. On the easiest level you get two free spaces to help you out so it should be a piece of cake.

....though it will still take some time to get the token requirement
(3000 i think) because you don't get a lot for winning one game,
nor with the jackpot spinner.... playing on easy, getting the 25 bonus for all 4 seasons and most of the flower match bonuses, and finishing the game around 4 minutes, well, it comes to about 110 tokens for the win..throw in the average 60 token jackpot spin and thus getting about 170 per game, it will still take about 17 to 18 games.... so while easy, not totally a quickie.... but i like this one, and this badge is way better than the last M-garden badge which required 4 bdays (freaking 48 wins).... canasta will take some time too, but that's also a fun game and the robots are programmed more fair than other games you can practice with the robot.... so good luck to all, may you find easy pairs and meld out quickly all week

Canasta is fun and easy, so that will be enjoyable no matter how long it takes.
And I like Mah jongg too and right now am addicted to Bingo so will probably play that for my other.

I've played 3 games of Mahjongg and got over 1000 points so this won't take long!
What's your personal challenge this week?
pika- 08-10-2005
My personal challenge this week is to get through the work week without ripping a new one for some idiot at the office. Oh, you mean my personal challenge at Pogo??? I haven't figured that out yet.

so i'm putting along in M-Garden, getting my usual 170 per game (only hitting 60 or 80 on the jackpot spin)....but THEN when i've worked all the way up to 2640 tokens, i finally get a good spin: 1000.... :?
sure could have used that a lot earlier

Guess you could use the extra tokies to change your mini's outfit. The jersey is getting alil old.

I really hate Canasta. It takes so long to get to 5,000 points. I was leading on the first couple of rounds but then on the last one, the computer got over 2,000 points and I fell short of 5,000 points by only 40 points. I was ticked off!
I got the Mahjong Garden badge already. I think I'll work on a personal challenge next and once I'm done, I can decide if I want to work on the Canasta badge or let it go.

I get the bf to throw canasta games so I win. But it does take forever to get the points.. its not that fun of a game.
As for that other one, while it might be easy to match the tiles I can't seem to clear the entire board and it makes my eyes hurt looking for pairs.

i won a canasta game against the computer
with the score 5015 to negative 710
i am that good

Actually I love playing against the computer and waiting till the discard pile is really full and then snagging the whole thing.

I truly hated the Canasta challenge, I either really suck at that game, or I got dealt the absolute worst hands in the history of that game!
But I finally got the badge last night! w00t!
I didn't like payday freecell at first when I did the last challenge for the Motor Queen badge, but I ended up really liking the game after a bit, and I am looking forward to doing another badge quest with that this week.

I've designed a special badge for Tif and other Pogo lovers.
Her Grace- 08-15-2005
Ooooh, Pika, that's awesome! You should submit it to Pogo!
On second thought, don't! They'd prolly sue you!
