Playing the Game Clean
Kaysar: We're gonna steamroll through this house...we're gonna play this game clean, may the best man win. With all the whining about Eric's duplicity, will there be the same outcry against Kaysar and the Jedi Council members when they do the same thing? I'm just sayin'...can you play this game like a steamroller without breaking promises? Kaysar already flat lied to Maggie, saying he was put in a situation where he "had" to in order for his plan to go correctly. So...why is it okay when he does it but when Eric does it there's a feeding frenzy? :?

You cannot play this game clean and longer than a week. You can play it STUPID (Idiots everywhere can idolize the Cowboy) but you can't play it "clean."

DarStar- 07-27-2005

I believe by saying CLEAN.. he means in the sense the way the game is supposed to be played... no more saying " I won't ever ever put you up, blah blah..." He tells it like it is... there was no deal with anyone, maggie went up because he wanted to out Eric.. James went up to make him pick a side...... ....right now there's a deal with the five others to go to the final six.... once thursday's outting of the pairs and the MILLION dollar prize, .. it will be a whole new game once again. He will have fight hard to keep those 2 teams he's aligned with to keep him and Janelle. AND CRAPPY has never said to the others or to the diary room that he had LIED.. he thinks he's freaking moral and plays with integrity.... The difference is when you play a lying game, the only way to win fans and allies is to redeem/explain yourself somehow.. admit you know what your doing... Dr. Will was the best at this.. he was so bad but you couldn't help love the guy in the diary room.... richard hatch is another example of a good player in a lying game.

Re: Kaysar Is Playing Dirty
Kaysar stopped playing "clean" the minute he put Eric up on the block. If he thinks he's not playing dirty like everyone else, he's fooling nobody but himself.

I go through this frustration every year! IT IS A GAME! Why do they want to play clean, anyway? I mean, to me, it's a game and in the game, it is fair to manipulate, lie, and change sides. The only thing that would make the way someone played "wrong" is if they actually cheated--as far as the rules of the game go. I don't agree that people should swear on the lives of loved ones, etc. but I think if you show up to play the game, you shouldn't be mad when others actually play it.

Re: Dirty Game
Good point, Becky. It's a game, you're supposed to lie and manipulate others. You can't win otherwise. Trying to play a clean game in the Big Brother house is pointless, it can't be done sucessfully. If I were to ever be on the show, I would declare up front that I wouldn't be playing a clean game and would do everything in my power to win. Of course, I'd probably get voted off first thing, but at least I would be honest of my intentions of playing a dirty game.

Exactly why all the outrage at Eric's "lying" is amusing to me. He just didn't do it very well. Kaysar's lying & manipulating is somehow admirable because he's good at it, apparently. And those are just the two extremes; everyone in the house is being sneaky, and they ought to be if they are there to win.

And those are just the two extremes; everyone in the house is being sneaky, and they ought to be if they are there to win. This is how I see it, I will try to put my devotion to Kaysar aside for a minute. Note that I am basing my opinion on what I see and hear on the live feeds. I started out liking Eric, I didnt start to dislike him until later. Eric earned my disdain when he claimed to be moral and have such integrity and said he was always honest. The first day in the house he made a pact w/Micheal, Kaysar and James for the final 4 knowing full well it was BS. I overlooked that because the pairs were all secret at that point. But then he kept on and on about being moral and so on, saying he didnt talk trash and that type thing and all the while he was doing just that. He hooked up with Ivette the closet racist and April the biggest liar there. He knew these things about them and still claimed morals and integrity for their team. He's lucky there wasnt a lightning storm or he'd be toast. His entire teamed earned my disgust by condemning Kaysar for the simple act of praying. Because he wasnt perfect they seemed to think he shouldnt be practicing his religious beliefs, as if only the sinless should pray. Which I know you know is ridiculous. Then they had the balls to denounce the other team and say they will have to answer to their maker for their actions, as if they wont. In my eyes, you dont go around saying that when you are just as bad, or worse in their case, as the one you are talking about. Now....yes Kaysar went back on his word and I dont blame him becasue Erics excuse that Kaysar "broke his trust" early on, is, to me, a big crock. All Kaysar did was tell someone who he thought was part of their alliance (remember the E,K,M,J day one alliance?) to cool it with the women. From Kaysars point of view, he wasnt betraying anyone, but trying to keep peace in thier own foursome. But Eric acted all selfrighteous and decided then and their that Kaysar had to go. It was stupid. When confronted Kaysar told the truth..yes he said it to Mike. While Eric trashed anyone and everyone and acted like a spoiled child, Kaysar DID try to stop his team from all the trashing and such. Only after everyone got nasty did he give up on that. Thank you and good day sir

Look out. Please dont take that as a threat or anything. Im just sayin'.....

Hey Pepette, as someone who's been ignoring the feeds, doesn't read at Jokers, and is apparently only half conscious while watching the show, you're the first one who's explained clearly to me what exactly it was that Eric did wrong to make everybody hate him. Thank you!!

I'm not sure it would work a second time though.
