Physically Threatening?
I didn't really take Chris' words as physically threatening. He was just frustrated with Alex--he was doing a little too much schmoozing in my opinion!

I cont care for Chris's ways, but I didnt think he was threatening him either. He was rude and nasty and totally inappropriate for being in a business setting where customers could hear him...but it wasnt a threat IMO.

I didn't think it was physically threatening, either. I think Alex just got on a rant and possible exaggerated to Stephanie, who was more than eager to find a scapegoat for their failure. I was surprised that the Chris held his tongue in check so well in the boardroom, too. I kept waiting for him to blow up but he never did.

Clearly if Chris threatened Alex, Alex threatened Chris first. The whole thing was stupid. No Chris should not have acted the way he did, but he did not threaten Alex.

Re: Chris
I guess I'm in the minority because if someone like Chris acted that way to me, I'd take it as a physical threat. Chris is a foul-mouthed, tobacco-chewin' hothead, there is no place for him in the Trump organization.

Alex jumped in Chris' face first, and Chris still did not threaten him. He just told him to get the f away from him. Alex took that as a threat because he knows Chris is volatile. I, too, was surprised at how restrained he was in the boardroom. I actually like Chris.

Re: Chris
It's funny to watch Chris go from calm to ragin' lunatic in a matter of seconds in the board room at times. I seriously think he's going to go nuts sooner or later. Or maybe he's just edited to come off looking that way.

I would like to see the unedited version of the incident in order to decide if Chris was threatening Alex. IMO Chris is a time bomb and should have been gone along itme ago, but I think his number is coming up real soon. I wonder if he will punch the elevator or something  Seriously though, he seems to have areal anger contol issues. Is he married? I can't remember, but if he is I would be a little concerned for the verbal abuse he seems so good at dishing out.

Re: Chris
I have a feeling Chris' taxi ride home will be very entertaing. I bet he's going to have a lot to say when he gets fired.

However, I think that you are right about Chris being a time bomb and he will be sent home soon. Trump won't want him...even if he did give up chew to please The Donald. Trump commented on it and it was clear that he hadn't been chew-free long enough for it to be convincing that he'd kicked the habit. Trump has repeatedly expressed concern about Chris' temper. I don't buy Chris' argument that he is just intense. He may be intense in addition to having anger issues but it's not instead of anger issues.
