I had a few nitpicks with the awards. For one thing, I wouldn't classify Ugly Betty as a drama. I think it should have been in the comedy category. I also think American Idol was the only show in its category that's truly a competitive reality show. Deal or No Deal is a gameshow, not a reality show. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is not a reality show either. I'd probably classify it as a home improvement show. Maybe they need to explain how they define "reality show". Or maybe it's the competitive part that needs to be questioned. Even if you want to stretch it and say Extreme Makeover is a reality show, it's certainly not competitive. Their aren't several teams of families working on making over their houses, competing to be the one with the best makeover. Even though Johnny Depp wasn't at the awards show I was happy to see that he gave his speech by satellite. Wooo, he is the sexiest man alive. *drool* He could have won for best competitive reality show and I wouldn't have complained. The only award I wouldn't give him was best new drama because Heroes deserved that. I was glad to see so much of the cast there to accept the award. I saw Hiro, Nathan, DL, Niki/Jessica, Matt, Micah, Mohinder, and Claire.

Yeah, Ugly Betty should have won!! Drama or comedy, well it's a dramedy.... What was with that one actor in the Grey's Anatomy cast that showed up looking like he was going to a poker game instead of an awards show? Those worn jeans were pathetic and lose the hat! I do not like Rascal Flatts' version of "Life is a Highway." I saw "Cars" twice and they should have used the original. And on that note, "Real Gone" by Sheryl Crow should have won. JMO...

Now I usually don't like remakes of songs, but I did like Rascal Flats version of Highway (original by Canadian Tom Cochrane  ) Glad to see Heroes won. What is with 2 1/2 men....I've seen bits and pieces and haven't cared for it or Charlie Sheen....do you really think he deserved to be nominated? Funny female star: Ellen DeGeneres, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Queen Latifah. Let's see you have tv actor, movie actor and comedian....3 different types here. I think it's wrong to put them up against each other.... Funny male star: Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, Robin Williams. Sorry but nobody can compete with Robin Williams Wonder if LOST realizes the kick in the pants it got on this show LOL

I forgot to mention Halle Berry's dress. It was so short, I'm sure everyone seated near the stage got a good look up her skirt. She mentioned she was wearing underwear but still, do you really want people to see it?? I would think if you were nominated for an award, you would know there's a chance you could end up onstage and would dress accordingly.

Halle wasn't the only one who wore a short skirt/dress. Most of the females did with the exception of Christina Applegate (the only one I can remember right now.) As for dressing "accordingly" Grey's Anatomy's James Pickens Jr., certainly was not! What was with that damn hat, stoopid sweater and faded jeans??
