Original Songs
Both J.D. and Marty's original songs were superb. I really liked them both. I doubt any of the American Idol finalists are capable of writing tunes like these. I am really impressed with Marty and J.D.'s song writing talents. Out of the two songs, I think I prefer "Tress" more. It's catchy and happy, and sounds great both accoustic and electric. J.D.'s song is really good too, though. I especially like the part where he sings into the megaphone. That's pretty cool. And I have already heard "Pretty Vegas" being played on the radio. I think J.D. has a decent future in front of him no matter if he wins or not.
