November 27th episode "That's Good, That's Bad" (11/27)
The show starts with Mary Alice telling us that Bree is known as the perfect hostess (as she is hosting a party at her place), she knows how to take care of guests, serve dinner promptly, pass liquor freely and her anecdotes are enjoyable. But to look out when there are imperfect predicaments and we are brought to George singing outside her place, she runs out to see what he's doing, he says he wants to make things right, she said they broke up. Bree goes back in the house, gets a gun from under her bed, loads it and fires a shot out the window in George's direction, blowing out the speaker of the karaoke machine he's using.
(Mary Alice's voice then says "Bree knows how to take care of her guests, especially those who weren't invited")
(Mary Alice also said kids distinguish good guys as the ones in white hats and bad guys in black, showing 2 kids playing)
George begs Bree for a second chance. She went to see Dr.Goldfein in the hospital to ask his opinion. He tells her there is good in everyone, even the man on the blue bike who threw him off the bridge. Bree puts 2 and 2 together and knows it was George who did it.
George headed home with grocery bags and sees cops at his place, going through all his things. He calls Bree and she tells him to turn himself in and get the help he needs. He runs off.
Bree was one of those in charge at a hotel party. George was up in a room, called up a hotel worker, gave him a letter to give to Bree which said he was going to overdose on pills upstairs, etc...
Bree calls the detective who has worked with her on Rex's death to talk about George and he tells her they have concluded that George is responsible for Rex's death and tells her about the pills.
*we see George taking pills a few at a time*
Bree gets in the elevator and she was in shock and she breaks down. She stops the elevator and just remains in shock...great scenes.
George OD'd on pills , wakes up feeling ill, calls hotel operator to call the ambulance but then there was a knock at the door and he tells them never mind. Bree walks in the room and asks what he was thinking taking the pills. He asks her to call the ambulance, and remain friends with him so he has something to live for.
She tells him she can't call the ambulance until he admits what he's done, he said he didn't throw Dr.Goldfein off the bridgr, she said "yes, you did, but that's not what I'm talking about. You killed Rex, be honest and I'll forgive you". George says to call the ambulance, she tells him to admit what he's done.
He tells her he loves her and he did it, that she wanted him to. He passes out a bit, wakes back up and says to call the ambulance, she said "I did while you were sleeping". Bree!
Lynette
Lynette is tired of Nina's attitude and asks her to be nice. Nina still being a bitch, it is her nature. Lynette catches Stu and Nina having sex and Nina sees her. She asks Lynette what she wants, anything to keep her mouth shut. Lynette says she just wants her to be nice. The next day she gets back into work and a new woman (Pat) was at reception. Nina had fired Stu and threatened Lynette there will be other firings.
Lynette went to Stu's house to convince him to go to the big boss and tell him about Nina and said he can sue for sexual harrassment. Tells him to ask Ed to give him back his job and he won't sue for millions. Ed said o.k.
The next day Lynette sees everything is chaotic at work. Ed fired Nina and made Lynette VP of accounts.Told her that Ed is suing them for everything and he can't afford any other staff members so it'll just be him and Lynette. Nina in hall and congratulates Lynette, tells her how hectic working for a disorganized boss is and that she can kiss her 4 kids goodbye seeing she'll always be at work. Lynette feeling real bad now.
Susan
Susan wants to know more about her father. She applies for a job at the shop hoping she can get close to him. He's about to hire her when she tells him he has nice eyes and then he assumes his wife sent her to test him to see if he'd cheat. Tells her she's pretty with a tight ass, etc.. and she turns and says "I'm your daughter". She tells him the story, he walks away, goes in the back room. Susan follows and sees he collapsed on the floor. She goes to visit him in the hospital (he tells her he has heart problems) and he tells her he doesn't want to know anything about her. He tells her he paid off the mother lots of money to stay quiet and tells Susan she was a mistake. Said his wife would flip if she knew he had a daughter and told her to leave. The wife walks in and asks who she is. The father scared but Susan says "I'm his guardian angel". She tells the wife she gave him CPR and called 911, they thank her, she kisses him on the cheek says she's not giving up and she leaves.
Gabby
Gabby's home, the phone rings, a voice tells her Carlos escaped from prison and Gabby is surprised, he then says "He may be armed and very very horny", Gabby turns and sees Carlos in the house. So excited she jumps in his arms and they kiss. He tells her a group lobbied the parole board and freed him. They have sex. She finds letter from Mary Bernard who is the nun who was working with Carlos in jail to make him a better man. He woke up early 1 morning, told Gabby he was going to mass. Gabby sees a pretty nun outside and gets jealous. Carlos leaves.
Later she tells him that she invited "sister Mary hot pants" over for dinner Carlos and sister Mary are going on and on how money can't buy happiness etc.. and Gabby is freaking out saying of course it does etc...
Carlos tells sister Mary he will donate his car to her mission and Gabby really freaks. Carlos and Gabby leave the table, she tries to seduce him in the room and they have sex. She goes back down in her robe and tells the nun they had an intense talk. She takes the nun outside, tells her that she and Carlos need their time and if the nun could back away. the nun replies "No, as long as he's with you he will never find what he's looking for". Gabby said "Llisten to me, you little bitch. You don't want to start a war with me", the nun turns to her and says "I have God on my side, bring it on".
Mary Alice then tells us
It's not always that easy to distinguish the good guys from the bad guys
-we see Gabby in bed and Carlos praying
Sinners can surprise you and the same is true for saints
-we see sister Mary putting out a candle
why do we try to define people as simply good or simply evil?
-Nina teary eyed
because no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in 1 heart
-Susan's dad with his wife
-shows us Bree fixing the chair in the hotel room
and that anyone is capable of anything
-George asleep (or dead) on bed
