I remember Jack & Kate digging up the empty coffin to get the marshall's key, but nothing about Jack's dad. You're right about Rose and her husband. So...do you know this to be true or are you just agreeing with my logic? :wink: OH, and Locke's encounter with the mystery monster machine..what's up with that? How did he survive it? In the finale' when Jack saved Locke from being pulled into the hole by the mystery monster machine, Locke told Jack that he would have been alright. So is he buds with the MMM or what? Man, I thought my head hurt trying to figure this show out after coming in halfway through the season, but it's even weirder having seen the first few episodes... :? :smile:

Did you see the back story episode where he was trying to get on the plane with his father's body (in the coffin)? He didn't have the right paperwork and they weren't going to let his father's body ont he plane....they didn't show if they did let it on or not.... You're right about Rose and her husband. I missed last week, so if they showed Jack's dad's coffin then, I missed it. :evil: I'm gonna have to get the DVD, I guess! And Locke...he is so interesting. Last night's episode, where he encountered the mysterious monster machine, was heavy on his backstory where he repeatedly said "don't tell me what I can't do!" So he's a stubborn old coot with a chip on his shoulder. :lol: I wonder if that has something to do with 1) why he can walk on the island, and 2) why he isn't intimidated (or harmed) by the mysterious monster machine?

Did you see the episode where the monster was chasing Locke (I can't remember which episode) and he fell, it left you thinking that the monster was about to get him.....he apparently saw the monster then and lived, which seems to be why he feels he has a connection with the island. He believes it is because of the island that he can walk.

I don't remember that episode, so I prolly missed it the first time around. I saw bits and pieces of the episodes before watching regularly...dunno which point that was at. Seems like it was when Charlie was trying to get Claire to come up to the caves and they were eating imaginary peanut butter...but I think that was a rerun 'cuz a couple of episodes later Claire returned to camp, and I didn't even know she'd been kidnapped! :shock: Anyway...I'm ready for 1) the DVD, 2) Season 2 to start, and 3) to win the lottery ('cuz, well, who wouldn't want to win the lottery? :lol: ).
