This whole thing just turns my stomach..... let's see woman has sex with 12 year old...goes to jail....does it again with same kid.....but hey that's ok, cause they're in love and now they're getting married.... :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: . If he's of legal age now, I don't see any reason why they shouldn't get married if they want to. She's gone to prison and served time for being with him when he was too young. He's an adult and he's had some time away from her so I think it's up to him if he wants to see her again.

I agree that it is up to him/them....my complaint is how the media is jumping on the "how romantic this is" thing.....would they find it romantic if it was a man who'd had sex with a 12 year old girl.....and then this....I doubt it.

Yeah, I agree that they're no role models for romance, like Romeo and Juliet. If she had really loved Vili, she would have waited until he was old enough to start a relationship with him. The fact that she didn't tells me she either has no respect for him or no self-control. She'll probably dump him when she gets an itch for a newer model or he'll ditch her once the reality of married life hits him.

I recall a lot of media attention given to Woody Allen and his child bride, but I dont recall them turning it into a fairytale romance like they seem to be doing with MKL and her boy. It was more of a outrage sort of thing for them. BIG double standard going on here by the media. Where are their kids? Dont they have 2 of them together?

The media strikes again! I wish they would just drop the story. IMO it isn't romantic.

In both of these cases you have the media trying to sell a "true love triumphs in the end" story when in reality you have selfish people who have a ton of emotional wreakage and many affected lives in their wake.

I feel the most sorry for her 4 kids from her first marriage. They are the ones who don`t get a Mom,... I blame her X for it. No matter what she`s done. The kids still need a Mom. At least her other two get one. Mary K was a very mixed up person. A lot of emotional problems.. I still think their marriage proves my earlier point that the boy wasn`t even close to being a victim I believe his Mother. She said herself Vili was no victim.

Can our culture sink any lower? On one channel we'll be able to watch Michael Jackson's molestation trial and on another, we can watch Mary Kay marry her molestation victim. I can't help but feel that there is still something fundamentally wrong & psychologically unhealthy about a grown woman being attracted to an adolescent. If the sexes were reversed there would be a lot more outrage and would be told in a much different light and E would not be filming the wedding.

Not only is she unfit as a mother and human being, but those kids should NOT be exposed to her unhealthy relationship. They are far better off without her in their lives. She's sick. I saw her on Larry King and was actually sickened by her but still unable to change the channel because of my utter disbelief at this whole situation. She should be locked up just like any other pedophile and treated the same. Aren't pedophiles not allowed to be around children unsupervised after release?

I agree with you both....Rufu I happened to catch a bit on ET and had to turn the station...I wasn't even paying attention (reading instead), but it turned my stomach.
