I had to laugh at Markus comparing himself to Donald Trump. The only thing they have in common is thinning hair.
Trump is self-confidant and charges ahead with what he wants. Markus is wishy-washy and lacking self-confidence. Trump is able to communicate ideas effectively. Markus kept rambling on like he wasn't sure what he was trying to say. Trump is good at establishing rapport with people. Markus did not endear himself to his teammates or Trump.
I'm not sure why Markus applied for the Apprentice. He doesn't seem like much of a go-getter and I suspect he will be the first man eliminated.

Re: Markus Markus seems like he's not playing with a full deck. I think you're right, Pika. Markus will be the first guy to be fired. From what I've seen of him so far, he's just not right for the Trump organization. He seems in over his head already.

For some reason he's still there. I kind of like him---in a weird way.

I liked the fact that Markus didn't allow the pm, whose name I forgot, to put him on chinese food ordering duty because he was, "good at that sort of thing." That was totally condescending. I understand that he was trying to get him out of the way, but there's a way to do things and i'm glad Markus didn't let him get away with treating him like an idiot.

Maybe it was just the editing but I didn't see Markus doing any work, even when the pm gave him specific things to do. He told Markus to sweep, Markus just kept roaming around. I think the pm finally told Markus to get lunch because he wasn't useful for anything else just to let him know his lack of participation was being noted. That should have been a clue to Markus that his teammates don't believe he's pulling his weight and he better shape up or he'll be one of the ones nominated the next time his team loses a challenge.

Welll, it looks like The Donald is gonna shake things up by switching up the teams and Lord help whichever team Markus is on!
But then again, we may see a different side of him if the teams are made up of men and women.

I wonder if the one he berates this week will be Markus? Im thinking it will be.
