Mar 15, episode 3 *Spoilers!* This quoted from my tv listings..... from the previews it looks like it could be Romber ..... dang...and here I was hoping he'd be gone
Do You Need Some Mouth-to-Mouth Resuscitation?
One team is unable to complete a Road Block, so the members accept a penalty and encourage other teams to do the same.

I've been combing the spoilers trying to figure out which team does that but no luck so far. I can't imagine Rob and Amber quitting and even if they did, no way is any other team going to follow suit because they did. Previews of coming shows are so misleading and hard to decipher sometimes.

I know. In the preview it showed Rob saying he gave up or something. I'm betting it's them. It sounds like something he'd do...trying to talk everyone into taking a penalty LOL.
I'm hoping the brothers pick up the pace. I really like them so far and hope they do well. Now maybe that the room mates are gone they'll be able to focus

I figured TAR is a good place to put my first post on this here island!
I wouldn't be surprised if Rob quits the task and takes a penalty for it and then convinces someone else to do it. Rob is definitlely blazing his own trail on TAR.

He sure is. Like him or not it's made for some great tv.

Who do you think says the thing about mouth to mouth resuscitation? I'm thinking either Rob says it or someone says it to Rob.
just bradley- 03-15-2005
I would guess Rob, though it wouldn't surprise me to see Debbie or Bianca saying it.

To Gretchen and Meredith comes this haunting voice:
"Beware the Ides of March"
Like Caesar, they will be eliminated on this day.
At least, that's what I think.

I'm surprised they've lasted this long. I haven't taken to them like we did the last couple (the names completely left my brain....then again maybe the brain completely left the head)

Yep, they seem to stumble around and get lost all the time...crazy.
TAR6 Elders were Don & Mary Jean (or something). I liked them lots better, too.

At the Roadblock they're supposed to eat four pounds of meat. Is that even possible??? I've gotten a half-pound hamburger at Ruby Tuesday's before and can rarely finish the whole thing in one sitting. I don't know if it's physically possible to eat four pounds of meat. I feel so sorry for the teams.
I think if I was forced to eat that much meat at once, I would never want to eat meat again for the rest of my life!
I was wondering about the food challenges on the Amazing Race... If you puke your guts out, do you forfit or have to eat more to make up for what you upchucked?
just bradley- 03-15-2005
Apparently, it was very time consuming since 3 teams were able to take 4 hour penalties and still finish ahead of 2 teams! Blech, that's a lot of meat. A lot of weird meat, that is.
bookie- 03-16-2005
That was so gross watching them eat that meat.
I missed bits and pieces, why did the brothers decide to take the bikes instead of the raft?

They just did; there wasn't any real explanation. I was a little surprised, but since I've rafted before I was pretty sure the water would move faster than the bikes on railroad tracks. Didn't expect the flat tire, though...so if they hadn't had that who knows where they might have ended up?

Re: Flat Tire Didn't expect the flat tire, though.
It's funny how one of the teams in last place said they would pray for a flat tire. And then... wham! the brothers get a flat tire. I guess this just proves God always answers prayers.
