It's just a passing fad...albeit one of the longest lasting fads ever.

pika- 03-15-2006

Just so everyone knows, it may take a while before the next part of the story is posted. I've been so busy at work and I have class tonight so it may be tomorrow or later before I get a chance to write.

Pepette- 03-19-2006

Next installment is up! Game on it seems

One thing I wish I had thought to do differently in the story was I should have put someone else in charge of hosting the game. I don't really like portraying myself as this kind of mob boss character.

BUT ITS SO COOL!!!!!!

And don't think of it as Mob Boss....think of it as Puppet-Master!

And you could always do the rip off the realistic mask thing like Mission Impossible or Scooby-Doo.

I'm thinking about getting a storyline development assistant. I work best when I can bounce my ideas off someone and they can help me fine-tune them or suggest ideas I can run with. If anyone is interested in helping me with the Mole, send me a pm. The downside is you won't get to be surprised by each chapter as it comes out but the upside is you can influence the story.

I got a volunteer so we'll get to work on the next part of the story.

Ooooo...it sounds like you're asking for a REAL LIFE mole!

EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Im so excited....and I dont even know why!!!!

pika- 03-21-2006

I'm just hungry. The first week of a new diet is always the hardest. Thank goodness I have this story to distract me from thinking about food!

Mmmmm...you mean like, chocolate?

pika- 03-21-2006

Don't go waving chocolate around in front of a dieter, Jay, or you could lose a couple of fingers.

pika- 03-22-2006

Stats on the story:

7,274 words written in 15 days for an average of 485 words a day. Not too bad!

Her Grace- 03-22-2006

"Not too bad" MY ARSE! It's fabulous! You should write for a living Pika!

pika- 03-22-2006

Aww, thanks, Tif. It's easy to write about the interesting people here at the Island.

"If they asked me, I could write a book
About the way you walk and whisper and look.

I could write a preface on how we met
So the world would never forget.

And the simple secret of the plot
Is just to tell them that I love you a lot.

Then the world discovers as my book ends
How to make two lovers of friends."
