Leg 7 (April 5)

I wonder how far behind Meredith and Gretchen the brothers were. It looked close, but you never know with editing. I have always wished they'd put the time on the screen so we could know. Me too. This would be great, in my opinion, but I'm sure they don't do it so that they can edit it to make the finishes look closer than they actually are. Last week's finish with Brian/Greg & Ray/Deana was the only actual "race" to the finish that I can remember seeing--it was great! Was I hearing things, or did I hear Lynn or Alex say that Uchenna and Joyce were born to carry things on their head? I think it was Lynn that said it. The irony is that in their interview he and Alex talk about being "people" first and "racers" second, yet they seem to have no problem making stereotypical generalizations about people when it suits them. I like them less each week. That was great, Brinna! Perhaps you and Brad might want to take turns writing recaps in the future. :wink: No need to take turns. Brad, you're fired. Brinna, you're hired. Ditto, Brinna; thanks for taking up the slack in my absence. I'm totally down with splitting up the remaining episode summaries, or combining, or whatever. You both do a great job. :grin: I am thouroughly impressed with anybody who can keep everything straight and remember all the details. I can't do it. I always seem to miss something or other, which is why I like the recap threads. I was, of course, just teasing Brad by saying he was fired. I hope he knows that. Of course he does. :twisted:
