June 8th show....spoiler if ya havent watched yet
The life size Barbie model and her little blond partner are gone. Both her and the one she is attracted to and his partner were sent to the eliminations...so either way, one of them was going. She cried and cried. Her partner sat down next to her and at first looked totally clueless about what to do...should he put his arm around her or what? He finally put his arm around her, in what I think was supposed to be a comforting gesture but he looked really akward and sort of tugged her toward him...lol. It was kinda sweet in a goofy kind of way. The girls had to change a tire and do a mini tune up on a car and the guys had to give a massage as the challenges this week. These guys are funny, they all look scared to death to even look at a woman, nevermind having to actually put their hands on the bare skin of one to give a massage  Poor Richard, his girl tried to show him what to do by doing it to him (a shoulder massage) she barely touched him and he was yelping about it hurting...LOL Im surprised, but I really like this show. Im glad I watched it.

Me likey, too, Pepette. And Richard did crack me up with his "ow, you're hurting my shoulders!" I'm not liking Caitilin & her doctor partner much, though. She's not feeling the Nerd Love, the snooty patootie.

I'm sorry the young guy is gone, but I couldn't take anymore of the life size barbie  ....what, like there isn't life after the show...is she afraid he'll want nothing to do with her afterwards .....

Erika, the life-size Barbie. I sorta started liking her toward the last half of the show. She had these epiphanies that dorks are people, too, and that maybe--just maybe--girls like her were superficial and shallow. Still, I like Brad and am glad he's still around, though I don't much care for the gal he's paired up with.

One thing that really annoys me is how the girls are all the time saying things like "girls that look like us..." Ugh. And the one guy, who was wearing the sign asking to form an alliance, is really getting on my nerves. But other than that, I like the show well enough.

I'm still trying to figure out what this guy Brad's issue is. He certainly doesn't seem too uncomfortable around these women....then again they haven't showed us much ofhim. I really thought they were going to try and get rid of Richard and his partner.

Richard, on the other hand...definitely nerdy.  I thought the doctor guy was gonna try to get rid of him. Speaking of the doctor guy, he seems a little too tightly wound to me...getting all bent out of shape at Richard's antics and telling his chess-playing chick friend not to "reinforce his behaviour" by laughing at him...is he the house Dad or something???

The poor girl couldn't help but laugh harder after that. LOL

I thought he was just trying to keep Richard from embarrassing himself, but yeah, its really not his place. He has his own issues to deal with I think. You know you spend too much time on the Island when this statement by still just brad, Still, I like Brad and am glad he's still around, stumps you and you reread it...twice....trying to figure out why Brad is saying he likes himself and is glad he's still around
